Lyrics for Drain You as interpreted by spitfirek7

Drain You Lyrics
One baby to another says
I'm lucky to have met you
I don't care what you think
Unless it is about me
It is now my duty to completely drain you
A travel through a tube
And end up in your infection

Chew your meat for you
Pass it back and forth
In a passionate kiss
From my mouth to yours
I like you

With eyes so dilated,
I've become your pupil
You've taught me everything
Without a poison apple
The water is so yellow, I'm a healthy student
Indebted and so grateful
Vacuum out the fluids

Chew your meat for you
Pass it back and forth
In a passionate kiss
From my mouth to yours
I like you
You

One baby to another says
I'm lucky to have met you
I don't care what you think
Unless it is about me
It is now my duty to completely drain you
A travel through a tube
And end up in your infection

Chew your meat for you
Pass it back and forth
In a passionate kiss
From my mouth to yours
Sloppy lips to lips
You're my vitamins
I'm like you

i guess it COULD be about drugs, but can you explain it a litle more.
"a travel through a tube" = takin' the drugs, the powder that goes through a tube into the nose?
or am i wrong.

yeah, i never thought it was about drugs specifically, either, until it was pointed out here. whatever, i like a lot of "drug songs" (ie Pink Floyd "Comfortably Numb")

Kurt wrote this about this chick he liked, Toby Vail, but she didn't like him back...he felt that whenever they were close that they could make it work, but then she just rejected him again...hence draining him

this song reminds me of my first girlfriend; my feelings for her took over my entire being. Anywhoo while we were dating we both got into drugs, not de soft stuff either. love and chemicals, yes... thats what drain you is all about.

yes....like a mother bird does for the baby bird (chewing the food) they share it

although the are both babies (see the first line), the girl becomes the mother/teacher/provider

Scheisse, just look up the lyrics to "Comfortably Numb". I think I posted some shit there...it should help a little...And Dareka, it's got nothing to do with an ex-girlfriend...

...maybe its just me...but i think its about the effect kids have on parents.....they are born, they drain the parents of all their time, money, freedom, etc. .....anyway, thats probly just me cuz i hate kids

grrr... i wish i knew english. It is quite frustrating for people like me, for us it is double trouble getting the meaning.

i hate kids too....but i dont think thats what the song is about.

yah know...songs can be about absolutely nothing...for example beck's loser song
but i strongly believe most of nirvana's songs have meanings behind them.

I think that the parent-mother theory is a good one... but also i mean he was on drugs.. and when your on that stuff your thoughts arent exactly clear i think thats why some of their songs really make no sense at all. Just a thought...

This is a good love song. Its definitely one of the more upbeat nirvana songs, not quite so depressing. i enjoy listening to it.

yup, it's about simple love and getting really attached to someone (and there are several drug related lines). end of discussion, great song.
