One baby to another says, "I'm lucky to have met you"
I don't care what you think unless it is about me
It is now my duty to completely drain you
I travel through a tube and end up in your infection
Chew my meat for you
Pass it back and forth in a passionate kiss
From my mouth to yours
I like you

With eyes so dilated, I've became your pupil
You've taught me everything without a poison apple
The water is so yellow
I'm a healthy student
Indebted and so grateful
Vacuum out the fluids
Chew my meat for you
Pass it back and forth in a passionate kiss
From my mouth to yours
I like you, you, you, you, you, you

One baby to another says, "I'm lucky to have met you"
I don't care what you think unless it is about me
It is now my duty to completely drain you
A travel through a tube and end up in your infection
Chew my meat for you
Pass it back and forth in a passionate kiss
From my mouth to yours
Sloppy lips to lips
You're my vitamins
I like you

General Comment:It's all about a teenage relationship. How the things were explained in a different level. Many affections go under this condition. It's speaks of emptiness in a relationship and how the pattern works.

General Comment:One baby to another says, "I'm lucky to have met you"

Baby saying to teenage mom that he is happy to have been born and thus meet her.

I don't care what you think unless it is about me

self explanatory. He just wants nourishment. He does not have the mental capabilities yet to care about much else.

It is now my duty to completely drain you

Raising a child is draining, especially for a teenage mom. Self explanatory here.

I travel through a tube and end up in your infection

He travels through the filopian tubes, and is born into the "infection" that is his life and this earth.

    Chew your meat for you
Pass it back and forth in a passionate kiss
    From my mouth to yours
    I like you -

    Extremely self explanatory

With eyes so dilated, I've became your pupil

Baby is ready to learn from mom.

You've taught me everything about a poison apple

Could be referencing the mom reading him fairy tales, because poison apples are in them. Also religion? I think it is just a reference to her teaching him in general of "fables" about how the world is not that bad of a place, but he knows better.

    The water is so yellow
    I'm a healthy student

His urine is yellow, which is a sign of good health.

    Indebted and so grateful
    Vacuum out the fluids

He is grateful to have not been aborted.

    Chew your meat for you
Pass it back and forth in a passionate kiss
    From my mouth to yours
I like you, you, you, you, you, you

    self explanatory

General Comment:I also am pretty sure this song is about a tapeworm, or at least some sort of infectious disease of the type.

"One baby to another says "I'm lucky to met you" - From the worm's POV. Tapeworm's drain life for food, don't they? "Lucky to met you" as it needs food to live.

"It is now my duty to completely drain you" - Self explanatory.

"I travel through a tube and end up in your infection
    Chew my meat for you
Pass it back and forth in a passionate kiss
    From my mouth to yours
I like you" - Also quite self explanatory, the tapeworm goes out of its way to literally drain the victim for it's own life source. "Chew my meat for you", "pass it back and forth in a passionate kiss".

Overall, really fucked up song but good.

General Comment:Its clear this song is about vanishing twin syndrome where a foetus dies in utero and is partially or completly reabsorbed by the other twin.
This was more commonly discovered in the 80s due to improving ultrasound scans which were made available at this time.
Nothing to do with drugs or anything else so sorry to all those druggies out there who think every song ever written is about drugs!

General Comment:i think this song is about a teenage mother, still a baby but now raising a child and the stress that results but in the end the teenage mother still loves the baby even though it is hard to raise for her. just my thoughts.

My Interpretation:I really dont think that it is right but during the jam in the middle (around 2:29-ish)the guitar gives of a distinctive pixies sound. After just hearing it a minute ago and looking at the lyrics I would like to through out a very out there interpretation...so here it is, Could this song be a praise to the pixies (one of Kurt's favorite bands)? It kinda fits especially

"With eyes so dilated I've become your pupil
You've taught me everything without a poison apple
    The water is so yellow,
    I'm a healthy student"

    Just saying its a thought

General Comment:this song makes me think about the mentality of an unborn child, and the dynamics of it's symbiotic relationship with a tapeworm, or something similar, that happens to be sharing the same host. creepy stuff, very vivid - but that's why I LOVE IT! the words are rich, and descriptive. they invoke images of wet... blood and grime come to mind. also things like umbilical cords - 'pass it back and forth', 'I travel through a tube and end up in your infection.' - AND THE FREAK OUT/BREAK DOWN??? how awesome ';D

In a more 'real life' situation I've liked what I've been reading in previous comments about his girlfriend Tracey, the whole teacher/mother/provider idea is beautiful. and I guess I tendto shy away from the whole "oh, it's drugs!" mentality. whether they're a factor or not, you could argue ANY song is about sex and drugs - and maybe they are! but all the more reason to dig into the little details and emotions that the music inspires in yourself, right?

Song Meaning:This song is definitely about Kurt's heroine addiction...
I'm lucky to have met you - How Kurt felt about heroin
I don't care what you think - How heroin felt about Kurt

It is now my duty to completely drain you - After you come off a heroin high, you feel drained
A travel through a tube - heroin is usually injected through a needle (the needle is the tube)

With eyes so dilated, - his eyes are dilated (heroin does the opposite, makes them smaller)
I've become your pupil - he shoots some heroin and the heroin makes the pupils very small
You've taught me everything - heroin users experience euphoria which percepts realities that are not true
Without a poison apple - again the drugs make you think that they are okay and that it has not harmed you
The water is so yellow, I'm a healthy student - heroins color when melted and ready to inject is yellow
Indebted and so grateful - drug addicts usually end up in debt because of their drug, yet are still grateful for it
Vacuum out the fluids - heroins melted in a spoon, "vacuumed" into a needle

General Comment:this is so literal but:
It is now my duty to completely drain you
    A travel through a tube
And end up in your infection

    = sexual intercourse?
