Eminem – Lose Yourself Lyrics

eminem has the quality of rappers such as biggie or jay-z in that every single he releases is a hit, and not just top 40 radio. love him or hate him, he's got the talent. (i love him) |

best song off untouchables. i am the lsat person to admit that any song has religious undertones, so i'm not going to say that this has anything to do with that (even though i think it does :o) |

Staind – Black (Pearl Jam cover) Lyrics

aaron's cover is amazing, but i think it's a little silly to say that it is better than the original. aaron has a stronger voice than eddie, but that's his song, and his emotions come through on it. |

Backstreet Boys – All I Have To Give Lyrics
| 22 years ago

no no no, popnoir, you are mistaken. the bands that i like did not start out as manufactured pop, unlike your little boy bands and teenybobbers, who were created soley for the purpose of top 40 radio and trl. if the music i like had the ability to cross over to mainstream, more power to them, because, unfortunately, nost nimrods (not YOU, of course) don't hear the music until mtv says it's okay, then top 40 radio can run the song into the ground. as for my top 5 bands, those are the bands i like, REAL MUSIC. i know your trying to be cool and clever by calling me a hypocrite, but when it all comes down to it, YOU LIKE THE BACKSTREET BOYS!!! |

Backstreet Boys – Drowning Lyrics

i sound ignorant, yumeko? you're writing epics about a band that i can PROMISE you will not exist by the end of 2003. i will admit that they can sort of sing, but they are manufactured pop that will fade away. and for anyone out there who thinks that backstreet or nsync or o-town won't meet the same fate as new kids or new edition is sadly mistaken. |

Christina Aguilera – I Turn To You Lyrics

she's got a great voice, i'll give her that, but why does she have to drag out every note for ten minutes. this song isn't as bad as say, the way she sounded in lady marmalade, but she doesn't need to prove that she has a nice voice that way. |

Backstreet Boys – Larger Than Life Lyrics

it is true. i don't have to believe it. they did a song about the fans to keep you suckers buying records. lou perlman is a marketing genius. and one more thing--i don't know how any hardcore fan of pop music-boy bands, specifically, can think they are true artists. HELLO-there was a show on ABC that shows how they are chosen, trained, dressed, etc. if anyone out there can tell me one boy band where five guys got together and said, "hey, let's all dress a like and sing alike and dance alike and really be in it for the music" without the influence of parents/managers/talent scouts,or any outside influences, i will never say another bad thing about boy band again. in fact, i'll even buy one of there cd's. |

Backstreet Boys – All I Have To Give Lyrics

it's easy for the backstreet boys to release a greatest hits album after only a couple of years...because they're are plenty of retarded pre-teens out there who have not had the opportunity to experience real music by people who have talent, not people picked by lou perlman for having pretty faces, and, of yeah, they can sing, too. 12 and 13 year old morons pump their parents hard earned money into the backstreet empire, because mtv and top forty radio play out the songs so much that people have no choice. plus, pre-pubescent girl will buy anything with a cute boy's face on the cover. oh, btw krisco, the reason we come here to post negative comments is because we know they'll always be someone stupid enough to defend what they call "music". don't worry, i'm not talking about YOU though... |

South Park – Blame Canada Lyrics

just want to say, thank god this song got nominated for an oscar. it's nice to know that just beacuse something may be offensive (like this movie was to anyone who didn't get it, which i did), it can still be appreciated for the work of art that it is. the south park movie is one of the greatest animated movies ever. when matt and trey were beginning the production, comedy central wanted them to create a pg-13 movie so that it would gross more. it's so awesome that they didn't and i love the fact that they created a war because of mpaa guidelines. they have to make another movie. |

Eminem – Kim Lyrics
|
this is actually off topic, but it has something to do with an interview i saw a little while ago. people who are outspoken about things that some people may find offensive are the dumbest shits who ever walked the face of the earth. do you people not realize that by whining and making a stink about things, you are free advertising? if you really don't like something, if you really think it's offensive, the best way to get rid of it is to LEAVE IT ALONE! do you have any idea how many more records eminem must have sold (the marshall mathers lp) because of all the protesting going on by gay and lesbian activist groups? that's where you people get it all wrong. talking about it on television and magazines and protesting outside the grammys only makes people want to see what the fuss is about, hence, buying the cd. i have to agree with p lo only because cry-baby whiners did help eminem sell a shit load of records. so keep it up, because you all just make the people you protest against that much richer. ps- eminem rules and the new cd (which i picked up yesterday) is fucking awesome!! |

Linkin Park – My December Lyrics

i am so sick of everyone on this site calling a band a sell-out just because they are famous. what exactly is the point of doing all this if you don't want to be famous? that's what all you numb-nuts who call people sell-out classify a sell-out as. any band wants the world to hear their music, hence BECOMING FAMOUS. they only sell-outs out there are the people in the twix commercial, or nsync on a deserted island crying about chili's or britney spears in those god-awful pepsi commercials. GET IT RIGHT PEOPLE! some of you are so ignorant it makes me sick |

Simon and Garfunkel – Mrs. Robinson Lyrics

this song is from the movie The Graduate, staring ann bancroft and dustin hoffman. long story short: guy meets girl, guy wants girl, girl engaged to other guy, so first guy has affair with girl's mother, Mrs. Robinson. Famous quote: "Are you trying to seduce me, Mrs. Robinson?" it's a classic, and they are actually doing it on Broadway, but i'm not really interested in seeing kathleen turner naked. |
