I think she's stuck in her past - When it starts, It's current day and she's on the Metro - Everything begins and ends in Paris Song begins - she's in Paris - at the end of the romance She Emerges in London rain - filled with joy and hope - her life is going to be on a new track But England fills her with Pain (Years have passed and still the hurt) She flits back to the Night along the Seine (they used the Metro that night, no doubt) Now her sorrow at the failed romance returns her to Present day (again on the Metro) The soldier mirrors her reality - at first asleep and traveling to the destination - then awakens and she has a feeling - then before anything happens - he (like her lover) turns and looked away. Lastly, she returns to the Metro - she's still sad, she's still in pain, and the soldier sleeps again As they ride on the Metro |

@[foggydecember:32500] Love the cinematography and the moving camera. I've seen this video so many times - but I just spotted Bernard sing at the top of the staircase as the man walks up... How could I have missed that! :-D This is just a great piece of art |
