This song is about a person (the girl) who starts to become insecure about their relationship.. but it's all in her head. She thinks too much.. to the point where she imagines he's starting to fall out of love with her. "Now you've been talking in your sleep oh oh Things you never say to me oh oh Tell me that you've had enough Of our love, our love" He tries to reassure her that their love is fine: "I'm sorry I don't understand Where all of this is coming from I thought that we were fine (Oh we had everything) Your head is running wild again My dear we still have everythin'" The chorus is just a plea to remind themselves that their love is still great. They just need to remember that this is part of love.. it's not always gonna be perfect, but that doesn't mean it's broken, "just bent." Really great song about not giving up when reality sets in on the idea of love. |

| What I got from this song is actually different from what others interpreted. It's about a guy who falls for a girl who really knows to sweet talk and purposefully misleads him. At the slightest hint ("started with a whisper"), he starts to believe she actually really likes him so he gives in ("that's when I kissed her"). "Everybody talks" but that doesn't necessarily mean they mean it or it's the truth. I love how this song is actually kind of sad but it's upbeat! | |
