"You aint a beauty, but hey you're alright" is one of the best lines ever written in my opinion. It's about really loving someone regardless of everything, just pure love. She isn't the best- he isn't either, but she's the best to him (even not if it isn;t in the looks department). This song holds so many happy memories to me. |

I love this song so much- been playing it on repeat all day. Pretty much agree with the comments on here, can relate to the whole infatuation she feels that isn’t really reciprocated. I personally think it is about an older man rather than a boy playing games, and think that he is just not bothered about her rather than actually playing video games- I see them more as a metaphor. He is more bothered in petty interests rather than loving her. She will do anything to get more attention- wear perfume, his favourite clothes and be the 'bad' girl he desires but he just is not that into her. |
