Hawkwind – Brainstorm Lyrics | 15 years ago |
"I can't move 'cause The man has a rake off" I thought this was 'I can't move 'cause the man let the brake off'? Which would fit in with the meaning of taking off in a spaceship. Great track. Hawkwind at their best. |
King Crimson – Moonchild Lyrics | 15 years ago |
The instrumental part is good to listen too if you're drunk. |
King Crimson – Book Of Saturday Lyrics | 15 years ago |
I like it. |
Doves – One of These Days Lyrics | 15 years ago |
Am I totally off the mark in thinking that this song has sections in it that sound very similar to Pink Floyd? There is also a song by Floyd called 'One of these days', although nothing like this one. |
Doves – Kingdom of Rust Lyrics | 15 years ago |
Just wanted to put what I hear in this verse: I long to feel That wince in my heart As I went looking 'I couldn't STARVE (not stop) Now I'm Waiting for you' Doesn't really change the meaning much though... |
Hawkwind – Magnu Lyrics | 15 years ago |
I believe 'Warrior on the Edge of Time' is very influenced by Michael Moorcock's books. He did some of the vocals didn't he? Sounds like a warrior calling his battle horse. That's what I'll always hear when I listen to it anyway. Hawkwind = Class |
Doves – Pounding Lyrics | 15 years ago |
Haha! 2 years late. But I just want to say this song is class. |
Orson – Bright Idea Lyrics | 15 years ago |
This is a good song. Who cares if its easy to play? Its obviously about a girl he's too scared/nervous to ask out. Have you not felt that ever? Don't matter who the girl is, the feeling is universal. |
