of Montreal – The Past Is a Grotesque Animal Lyrics | 17 years ago |
"Things could be different, but they're not." Hit me harder than Neutral Milk Hotel's "How strange it is to be anything at all" |

This song always makes me calm and content. I love it. It's absolutely amazing. |
of Montreal – The Repudiated Immortals Lyrics | 17 years ago |
Being that it's after October is Eternal, I like to think that October is Eternal is the apocalypse, and then this song plays, and the last surviving people, that is, the eternals come forward and talk about their abandonment. This song makes me think a lot about the end of the world and dying, but it's still one of my all time favorites by of Montreal. |

My mom flat out asked me what the hell this song was about, and I simply told her "Someone who is having a chemical imbalance and wants to be in a good mood, this their chemical imbalance shifting." It's kind of funny I should be able to sum it up in a few lines. It's such a deep song. |
of Montreal – A Sentence of Sorts in Kongsvinger Lyrics | 17 years ago |
I always hear just laughed way too much, anyone else get that? An amazing catchy song. Every time I hear it I get reminded of Yoshi or something. It's amazing :D |
of Montreal – Gronlandic Edit Lyrics | 17 years ago |
This song is like my anthem. I don't know I just love it so much. The "I guess it would be nice to give my heart to a God" part just defined how I felt a while ago, and it's nice to know I'm not alone in that. I think he's talking about how he's disgusted with the world and that the simplest things are such a big deal now, and the beauty is gone. |
