Owen Pallett – He Poos Clouds Lyrics 14 years ago
I think "find and kill my shadow self" refers to the original Prince of Persia by Jordan Mechner (the old platform version). You had to jump through a mirror in order to finish a certain level, which released a "shadow you" in the opposite direction, laeving the real you with only a tiny fraction of your life, which is fully restored when you start the following level. Then you kept running into your shadow self again, unexpectedly, at later levels, and it kept hindering your progress on purpose (e.g.: stepping on plates which made you fall) until you finally got a chance to get close again and kill it.
When you finally get around to kill it, you're left with only a tiny fraction of your life, but it's fully restored the following level.
It's a great game indeed.

EMF – Unbelievable Lyrics 15 years ago
I think that in the last stanza - "Seemingly lastless, don't mean / You can ask us" and so on -, he creates a little bit of intentional purple prose himself. Just for color.
I think he goes as far as to "quote" things she may have said in the middle of the lyrics, like "think of the fine times" and "You've always go to stop", using them for showing us how pathetic she sounds.

Portishead – All Mine Lyrics 15 years ago
The first 2 verses remind me of "I only have eyes for you", by Art Garfunkel. They may be a reference.

It's a pretty run-of-the-mill, nonstalking love song until just after the first "All mine", when she really starts going off her rocket. "Tethered and tied" and "Don't resist" are almost funny in their villainess.

UNKLE – Nursery Rhyme Lyrics 15 years ago
That's a fetus talking from inside his sexually active mother. No kidding.
That's why he says that "When I fully grow I'll outsize you".
That's why he's in "a room inside a room, inside you" (the belly) being fed "electrically" and breathing "the air you breathe".
About the sex part:
He asks: "Woman please stay close to me, close to me/Carried through your ecstasy" and tells her: "You know inside, the baby knows/Your baby knows/You're on fire, you're on fire".
A part that's quasi disgusting: "I feel him close to you". Eww.

Air – Sex Born Poison Lyrics 15 years ago
I guess the title means it's sex that's going to cause something dangerous or bad to be born, hence the poison.
I think "prince from the biomass" could be this evil entity of pure desire that awakens inside the speaker. That is, by having sex, the person has awaken this massive desire that he/she didn't know he/she had, and became scared of it, so the same entity advises: "run to the fire system", that's right you big chicken. "You'll never reach the 7th sky today" - i.e. will not have an orgasm while denying my existence.
This suggests this encounter is taboo somehow. Maybe the person is cheating or just discovered he/she's homosexual.

The "different language" is Japanese, that's right. The English part has the same lyrics, translated from Japanese. That's why the words sound so weird, because they follow the syntax and imagery of the Japanese.
Oh, and "Ai no juice" is definitely what you thought it was. Generally a girl's, I guess.

Thom Yorke – Black Swan Lyrics 17 years ago
It looks like "Butterfly collector" (The Jam) with a little extra pity for the "subject" of the song.

"What will grow crooked, that you can't make straight" = Curly hair that got straightened to "fit in" better
"do yourself a favor and pack your bags..." = give it up, there's no way you'll fit in this society, go globetrotting aimlessly
"cause this is fucked up" = you're hurting yourself and everyone else with your effort to win and conquer/ be popular/dominate
"You have tried your best to please everyone/But it just isn't happening" = you cant get everyone under your thumb
"This your blind spot, blind spot/It should be obvious, but it's not." = a person with a high IQ, maybe beautiful (a "White Swan"), but fucked up (maybe because once she was an Ugly Duckling). The "blind spot" would be his/her lack of wisdom instead of intelligence

The "black swan" bit reminds me of the opera Lohengrin, with deals with questions of belief and trust. But I guess it's too farfetched. I'll stick to "Black swan" as a mirror metaphor. "I'm seeing where you can't see, I'm seeing what should be obvious".
Anyway, i guess the music says: "i can see your problems in a way you cant; you can't figure out what you should do with your life? well, me neither. in fact, i think its too late to fix it, and you should close the world outside, but at least youve got me".
