Alan Jackson – The Little Man Lyrics | 15 years ago |
The song is called Little Man, not The Little Man. Delete these lyrics. |
Pat Green – Wave On Wave Lyrics | 16 years ago |
As I was pasting a quote from a scholarly biblibcal commentary from "cicministry.org" onto my facebook page, about denouncing the dangers of divination, this song was playing on the radio saying "We're all looking for redemption, We're just afraid to say the name. So caught up now in pretending, That what we're seekin' is the truth. I'm just looking for a happy ending, All I'm looking for is you." |
Say Anything – Admit It!!! Lyrics | 17 years ago |
Ugh, what a drama king. "...Pontificating to each other forever competing for that one moment of self aggrandizing glory " STFU and take a chill pill |
Say Anything – Admit It!!! Lyrics | 17 years ago |
Hmm, to the user "doda": I think you explained it correctly. And to the user "t0d0": Aren't you just "pontificating" on POINTLESS things yourself? This entire comcept of a song is pretty pointless. There is more important, practical things to be upset with in the world than silly little scene things that are going on in our one country of the U.S. This guy likes drama and he likes to get worked up for the sheer gusto of it. He isn't saying anything that really matters at all, although he uses great vocabulary and it is an awesome sounding song that words cannot describe. |
Lonestar – Mr. Mom Lyrics | 17 years ago |
I also think the lyrics are "Breakfast at six, naps at nine" |

What this song means to me is GET UP AND DANCE |
The Byrds – Turn! Turn! Turn! (To Everything There Is a Season) Lyrics | 17 years ago |
We should discuss religion and the reason of all being, because this song is obviously about "the big picture" kind of stuff. I have no comment to add, but I am interested in hearing other people's discussion as it pertains to this song and why they wrote it. Continue about the religion and such... |
Weird Al Yankovic – Hardware Store Lyrics | 17 years ago |
"Another example of a genre parody would be "Everything You Know Is Wrong", which is a parody of They Might Be Giant's general style. " Woudln't that be a style parody? Genre parodies sound like they would be a parody of a genre, not a specific band. |
Hampton the Hampster – Hampster Dance Lyrics | 17 years ago |
hell yea |
Rednex – Cotton Eye Joe Lyrics | 17 years ago |
I love this song. Any current artist that does a cover of a very old song is awesome. I like the fact that they put the hillbilly folk song into current day music. I like the novelty of it. |
*NSYNC – Space Cowboy (Yippie-Yi-Yay) Lyrics | 17 years ago |

Drake Bell – I Know Lyrics | 17 years ago |
I think this is about how this girl likes him just because he's in a band. He's like, come one, only a fool couldn't see through to the fact that because we're in a band we players. Drake Bell is a player. He has a girlfriend in every town. |
They Might Be Giants – Bastard Wants To Hit Me Lyrics | 17 years ago |
I love this song, I'm just starting to get into TMBG I have never really known them before. |
Weird Al Yankovic – Your Horoscope For Today Lyrics | 17 years ago |
""All Virgos are extremely friendly and intelligent - except for you" Clever line, since Weird Al is a Virgo. He found a way to make the song apply to all the listeners, but not to him. " What? Weird Al is NOT A VIEGO, he's a LIBRA. His birthday is October 23, what do you think? Where did you get that idea? Stop making up stuff. |

Weird Al Yankovic – Wanna B Ur Lovr Lyrics | 17 years ago |

Weird Al Yankovic – Cheerios, Apple Jacks, Cheerios Lyrics | 17 years ago |
YES THIS IS WEIRD AL. This is and old song he wrote that wasn't released on a CD. Probably before he was famous. I even heard it when I got it off Kazaa, and it was him, the way he sounded on his first album, way back when. I also remember reading on the internet that he wrote this song one time. |
Weird Al Yankovic – I'll Be Mellow When I'm Dead Lyrics | 17 years ago |
I'm not sure what this one means. It's about being hyper instead of a mellow laid back hippy because life is too short to be mellow and follow health foods and whatnot? |
Weird Al Yankovic – You're Pitiful Lyrics | 17 years ago |
Haha, the beginning part is to funny. Yes, genius. |

*NSYNC – Space Cowboy (Yippie-Yi-Yay) Lyrics | 18 years ago |
This is my favorite *NSYNC song. |
*NSYNC – Bringin' Da Noise Lyrics | 18 years ago |
Some people like music for the lyrics, some people like music for the music. Hey, some music doesn't have ANY lyrics... OMG what crap, right?!! Like, it takes no poetical skills required, anyone can write music with no lyrics! Beethoven and Mozart have NO poetical skills, because they have no lyrics in their song. So they must be really shallow huh? |
*NSYNC – Bye Bye Bye Lyrics | 18 years ago |
Why should someone be embarrassed to like a certain type of music? People like different music for different reasons. Some pick their favorite because the musicians are talented. Some pick one where the singer is a very good singer. Some like to hear the meaning of the lyrics, or listen to their stories. And some, ofcourse, listen to an artist(s) because the music sounds WONDERFUL, and they ENJOY listening to the tunes, and it puts them in a certain emotion or mood, whatever. Some people choose their music on a combination of these things. Country artist Keith Urban said "There's only two different types of music, stuff you like, and stuff you don't". GET IT NOW? |
*NSYNC – Bye Bye Bye Lyrics | 18 years ago |
For those of you who think Nsync is just all about "corporate music" meant to make money: Well guess what, if you have ever bought a soda, for example mountain dew, and enjoyed it, then you are no different than teenie bopper girls who listen to NSYNC. What you are using now is something called a COMPUTER. And corporations control the productions of computers... duh? Right? Now what's the difference between you and a person who buys NSYNC albums.. there ya go. |
Simple Plan – Welcome to My Life Lyrics | 18 years ago |
Pakana Sielu, but the fact remains that Simple Plan do not call themselves punk. Did you know this? |
Simple Plan – Welcome to My Life Lyrics | 18 years ago |
That comment wasn't directed at you Panathinaikos5,, it was more like to the people above you and to just to anyone who reads it in general... |
Simple Plan – Welcome to My Life Lyrics | 18 years ago |
Welllll,,, This song is actually just a song for their FANS to relate to... Simple Plan's life is definatly nothing like this. I don't know why they wrote this song, it doesn't coincide with them at all. I have mixed feelings about Simple Plan. They are just rich jerks who grew up in a nice little family. They got all their instruments to start a band when they were just 13.... THAT SOUNDS LIKE RICH TO ME. They like to "PARTY HARD" as Pierre said in an interview. They're the kids who get drunk, puke in the morning, have sex with millions of women, etc. They're always making dirty jokes.. I've seen their videos and read a lot about Simple Plan. Just jerks. The music they make is so different from the lives they lead. Everything is PARTY PARTY PARTY, sex, sex, sex, get drunk, be idiots and be make jokes about themselves being gay and say words like "sperm" and "balls" a lot,,, and stick up ur middle finger at the camera and use swear words in every sentence even if they're not mad. When will they understand the world beyond their rockstar lives? What sucky ROLE MODELS. Their music is so good, but what aweful role models they are. |
Simple Plan – Grow Up Lyrics | 18 years ago |
^umm.... ok whatever. You're just being random... haha. Anyways, I really like Simple Plan and I like their MUSIC. But the lyrics of this song I don't totally identify with. "Til the day I die, I promise I won't change..." - I am always changing though, like my style, my attitude, my interests. Not neccesarily growing up, but I change. How can people not change? We often go through experiences and we become stronger people. Or we try to change ourselves for the better, right? Then there's this part of the song: "I like to stay up late, spend hours on the phone. Hangin out with all my friends, and never bein at home. I'm impolite and I make fun of everyone. I'm immature, but I will stay this way forever" Hmmm.... no that is definatly not me. Some kids, y'know, dont have any friends to talk to on the phone. And some kids are the ones being made fun of. That sounds like a bratty, spoiled brat kid, rich preppy, popular kinda kid they are explaining in the song. I love SP's music and there are a lot of their songs I can indentify with, but what the heck is this song? |
Simple Plan – Untitled Lyrics | 18 years ago |
This is an excerpt from an interview with Jeff Stinco at http://thepunksite.com/interviews.php?page=simpleplan2 Bobby: So far, from your new CD, you’ve released four videos from it. My favourite is, of course, “Untitled (How Could This Happen To Me?)”. I love everything about it, the symbolism, how it’s all shot, everything. How did you guys come up with the idea for the video? Jeff: Well that song was inspired by a bunch of different tragedies that happened around us. It wasn’t about one specific event. But during the making of the record… that song came last. It actually came while we were mixing the album; it was the last song that we recorded for the new album. And as we were writing it, we didn’t really know what the song was specifically about. It was kind of evolving naturally, it was more, I guess, a train of thought kind of thing. Like we were just working on it and it was evolving naturally. Then eventually we remembered this event from when we were in high school. Three guys went skiing and they drank their asses off all through the night, and one of the drivers was drunk and took the car back to go home. And he killed his best friend during the accident that followed when he fell asleep. I think it happens to a lot of people. I think, unfortunately, most teenagers, when they get their licences, tend to think that they are invincible. That they will never be too drunk to drive, and they take their cars and they just get into accidents. Or sometimes not, because their lucky. But it’s a really risky thing and I think it’s very popular unfortunately. I think Canada’s better than the US, I think in Canada, people are more aware of the dangers of drunk driving. But in the US, I gotta tell you, all around me, friends of mine do it all the time. We just wanted to make a very strong visual statement on what could happen to the people involved in the accident and also to the people surrounding. The family and the friends that are connected to the people that are getting into those accidents. |
Simple Plan – I'm Just A Kid Lyrics | 18 years ago |
My social life is worse than this actually. And I agree calliphony, lol, it sort of seems like that. I hope Simple Plan is not mocking me! '_' |
Rascal Flatts – I'm Movin' On Lyrics | 18 years ago |
This song can have a lot more meaning to it than just about petty boyfriend/girlfriend relationship issues, as the previous poster pointed out. "When all you can see are the years passing by" Who knows what that could mean? Maybe someone's life really sucks and they've just been in a haze for the past few years. For whatever reason. |
The Click Five – Just The Girl Lyrics | 19 years ago |
These guys seem so fake and egostistical. They're music and style is very unorigional and just about everything they're doing is copying off of other artists. These kind of bands are a business, and meant to be marketed and nothing more. And not I'm not some crazy hardcore rock person, I like Simple Plan because they're down-to-earth and crazy and silly,,, (canadian... who cant go wrong with that?) and not all put-together boy bandish. |
Weird Al Yankovic – Albuquerque Lyrics | 19 years ago |
"wakka wakka doo doo yeah!" -- that was so random. |
