alright, i have a couple of guesses.
a) it's about a relationship with a friend/lover who is on heroin, and he's been trying to help his friend/lover with it, but they're not kids anymore, and this has gone on for way too long. he tried his best, but he's done if it happens again.
b) he's comparing a relationship he or someone had been in to herion, or some other addictive drug. and now maybe it's in the ending stages, the partner is seeing other people and he makes the another comparison with "push it in, break it off" to, you push another dick inside of you, you're breaking it off with me, because i'm not a kid anymore and neither are you, and i won't sit back and take this shit, i'll just move on. that comparison brought on by "you're out of your highchair, i'm out of your womb."

i guess this is just based off of a short story he wrote. he told an interviewer that although this does sound like a bash on hollywood, no one from the band has actually ever been to hollywood. it was just a cool premise for a song brought about by a short story he wrote; which supposedly is the inspiration for a lot of the songs off of this album. |
