It's a bit early in the midnight hour for me
To go through all the things that I wanna be
I don't believe in everything I see
You know I'm blind so why d'you disagree?

Take me away
'Cause I just don't wanna stay
And the lies you make me say
Are getting deeper every day
These are crazy days but they make me shine
Time keeps rolling by

All around the world
You've gotta spread the word
Tell 'em what you've heard
We're gonna make a better day
All around the world
You've gotta spread the word
Tell 'em what you've heard
You know it's gonna be okay

Whatcha gonna do when the walls come fallin' down?
You never move, you never make a sound
Where you gonna swim with the riches that you found?
You're lost at sea, well I hope that you drown

Take me away
'Cause I just don't wanna stay
And the lies you make me say
Are getting deeper every day
These are crazy days but they make me shine
Time keeps rolling by

All around the world
You've gotta spread the word
Tell 'em what you heard
We're gonna make a better day
And all around the world
You've gotta spread the word
Tell 'em what you heard
You know it's gonna be okay

Na-na-na-na, na na na na
Na na na na, na na na
Na-na-na-na, na na na na
Na na na na, na na na
Na
Na
Na na na na na na na na
Na na na na na na na na
Na na na na na na na na
Na na na na na na na na na na na na na

All around the world
You've gotta spread the word
Tell 'em what you heard
We're gonna make a better day
'Cause all around the world
You've gotta spread the word
Tell 'em what you heard
You know it's gonna be okay

'Cause all around the world
You've gotta spread the word
Tell 'em what you've heard
We're gonna make a better day
And all around the world
Gotta spread the word
Tell 'em what you've heard
You know it's gonna be okay

It's gonna be okay
It's gonna be okay
It's gonna be okay
It's gonna be okay

All around the world
You've gotta spread the word
Tell 'em what you've heard
We're gonna make a better day
'Cause all around the world
You've gotta spread the word
Tell 'em what you've heard
We know it's gonna be okay

All around the world
You've gotta spread the word
Tell 'em what you've heard
We're gonna make a better day
All around the world
You've gotta spread the word
Tell 'em what you've heard
We know it's gonna be okay

La la la, la-la la
La-la, la-la-la-la la
La la la, la-la la
La-la, la-la-la-la la

And I know what I know
What I know, what I know
Yeah, I know what I know
It's gonna be okay
And I know what I know
What I know, what I know
Yeah, I know what I know
It's gonna be okay
Yeah, I know what I know
And I know, what I know
Yeah, I know what I know
It's gonna be okay
Yeah, I know what I know
And, I know, what I know
Yeah, I know what I know
Please don't cry, never say die
So please don't cry, never say die
So please don't cry, never say die

La la la, la-la la
La-la, la-la-la-la la
La la la, la-la la
La-la, la-la-la-la la
La la la, la-la la
La-la, la-la-la-la la
La la la, la-la la
La-la, la-la-la-la la
So please don't cry, never say die
La la la, la-la la
La-la, la-la-la-la la
So please don't cry, never say die
La la la, la-la la
La-la, la-la-la-la la
So please don't cry, never say die
La la la, la-la la
La-la, la-la-la-la la
So please don't cry, never say die
La la la, la-la la

I think the song drags on a bit near the end, but I love the verses

hey stairway to heaven was over 7 minutes long, who cares really this is one of the best songs ever, it makes me feel happy, and all its trying to say is for the world to start doing somthing positive and stop poluting, killing and start making the world a better place and spreading the word means just doing things step by step.

Definitely Oasis' version of "All You Need is Love". So damn good though both times the songs gets so heavy and dense before it hits the 'All Around the World" chorus. Just brilliant.

love this song. Noel Gallagher is a genius. He will go down in music history.

Proper summer tune for me. Blasting this out, beer in hand, laying in the sun. Perfect.

Cant believe no ones commented on this truely great song. It's def. one of their best. It's nine and a half minutes long but when i listen to it, time just seems to fly by. Makes me believe 'It's gonna be okay'.

Love the first two lines: "It's a bit early in the midnight hour for me, to go through all the things that I want to be." Yet another Oasis song that shows what a brilliant songwriter Noel is.

This song leaves you feeling on top of the world and it's been compared to Hey Jude because of the continuing Beatles/Oasis comparisons! Noel will be delighted that a song he wrote has once again been compared to The Beatles! Amazing!!

Overall about difficult moments of disappointment and vulnerability. Having hope and longing, while remaining optimistic for the future. Encourages the belief that with each new morning there is a chance for things to improve. The chorus offers a glimmer of optimism and a chance at a resolution and redemption in the future. Captures the rollercoaster of emotions of feeling lost while loving someone who is not there for you, feeling let down and abandoned while waiting for a lover. Lost with no direction, "Now I'm up in the air with the rain in my hair, Nowhere to go, I can go anywhere" The bridge shows signs of longing and a plea for companionship. The Lyrics express a desire for authentic connection and the importance of Loving someone just as they are. "Just in passing, I'm not asking. That you be anyone but you”

Mountain Song
Jane's Addiction
Jane's Addiction vocalist Perry Farrell gives Adam Reader some heartfelt insight into Jane’s Addiction's hard rock manifesto "Mountain Song", which was the second single from their revolutionary album Nothing's Shocking. Mountain song was first recorded in 1986 and appeared on the soundtrack to the film Dudes starring Jon Cryer. The version on Nothing's Shocking was re-recorded in 1988. "'Mountain Song' was actually about... I hate to say it but... drugs. Climbing this mountain and getting as high as you can, and then coming down that mountain," reveals Farrell. "What it feels to descend from the mountain top... not easy at all. The ascension is tough but exhilarating. Getting down is... it's a real bummer. Drugs is not for everybody obviously. For me, I wanted to experience the heights, and the lows come along with it." "There's a part - 'Cash in now honey, cash in Miss Smith.' Miss Smith is my Mother; our last name was Smith. Cashing in when she cashed in her life. So... she decided that, to her... at that time, she was desperate. Life wasn't worth it for her, that was her opinion. Some people think, never take your life, and some people find that their life isn't worth living. She was in love with my Dad, and my Dad was not faithful to her, and it broke her heart. She was very desperate and she did something that I know she regrets."
