It's a bit early in the midnight hour for me
To go through all the things that I want to be
I don't believe in everything I see
Y'know I'm blind so why d'you disagree?

Take me away cos I just don't want to stay
And the lies you make me say
Are getting deeper every day
These are crazy days but they make me shine
Time keeps rolling by

All around the world, you've gotta spread the word
Tell 'em what you've heard
You're gonna make a better day
All around the world, you've gotta spread the word
Tell 'em what you've heard
You know it's gonna be okay

Whatcha gonna do when the walls come falling down?
You never move you never make a sound
Where you gonna swim with the ridges that you found?
You're lost at sea well I hope that you drown

Take me away cos I just don't want to stay
And the lies you make me say
Are getting deeper every day
These are crazy days but they make me shine
Time keeps rolling by

All around the world, you've gotta spread the word
Tell 'em what you've heard
You're gonna make a better day
And all around the world, you've gotta spread the word
Tell 'em what you've heard
You know it's gonna be okay

Na na na na, na na na na, na na na na, na na na, na na, na na, na na,
Na na na na na na na na, na na na na na na na na,
Na na na na na na na na, na na na na na na na na na na na na na

All around the world, you've gotta spread the word
Tell 'em what you've heard
You're gonna make a better day
Cos and all around the world, you've gotta spread the word
Tell 'em what you've heard
You know it's gonna be okay

It's gonna be okay
It's gonna be okay

All around the world, you've gotta spread the word
Tell 'em what you've heard
You're gonna make a better day
Cos all around the world, you've gotta spread the word
Tell 'em what you've heard
You know it's gonna be okay

All around the world, you've gotta spread the word
Tell 'em what you've heard
You're gonna make a better day
And all around the world, you've gotta spread the word
Tell 'em what you've heard
You know it's gonna be okay

Na na na na na na na na na na na na na
Na na na na na na na na na na na na na
And I know what I know, what I know what I know
Yeah I know what I know it's gonna be okay

Song Meaning:I think it's about getting caught up in a bad situation and wanting to change it, probably like a web of lies. The narrator stays up late because he doesn't want to be what he is. He drags everyone around him due to his "blind" fury and pessimism. He doesn't believe in not just anything but everything without even having to see it.
Upon realizing what he's done he wants to get away from it all because the situation is getting worse or "deeper" everyday.
He gets concerned for his friend to for their own good. Asking her what they're going to do when the walls come falling down, and his solution is hiding it. And even with the support they have, it's better to just finish it than trying to make it out alive

General Comment:love this song. Noel Gallagher is a genius. He will go down in music history.

Proper summer tune for me. Blasting this out, beer in hand, laying in the sun. Perfect.

General Comment:This song is about getting smashed on coke and writing a tune to fulfil ones contract commitments.
Funnily enough, whilst reading through the comments and digesting the youth within, then registering to comment, the song did fly by.
The song cannot be compared to anything meaningful or be said to convey a message of 'world piece' or 'ending whaling'.
The song has no meaning and is a fluke, but brilliant nonetheless of course depending on the listener (that's what makes Oasis brilliant - there aint no tremendous depth because they aint striving for it).
For me it brings back memories of a school excursion to the city and a friend of mine getting quizzed about a condom which fell out of his pocket by a teacher.

My Interpretation:I think this song is about how some kind of good event has happened that will change things forever and people are going around the world telling everybody about it. Vague interpertation, but powerful nonetheless.

General Comment:this song looks extremely long here! maybe 'cause they wrote

You know it's gonna be okay
    It's gonna be okay
    It's gonna be okay
    It's gonna be okay

All around the world you gotta spread the word
    Tell them what you heard
You're gonna make a better day
Cos all around the world you gotta spread the word
    Tell them what you heard
You know it's gonna be okay
All around the world you gotta spread the word
    Tell them what you heard
You're gonna make a better day
All around the world you gotta spread the word
    Tell them what you heard
You know it's gonna be okay
And I know what I know
What I know what I know

General Comment:Definitely Oasis' version of "All You Need is Love". So damn good though both times the songs gets so heavy and dense before it hits the 'All Around the World" chorus. Just brilliant.

General Comment:hey stairway to heaven was over 7 minutes long, who cares really this is one of the best songs ever, it makes me feel happy, and all its trying to say is for the world to start doing somthing positive and stop poluting, killing and start making the world a better place and spreading the word means just doing things step by step.

General Comment:This might just be the most ridiculously overblown, overproduced, overlong, and overloud song I've ever heard, but you know what? I love it! It's over nine minutes long and despite the overproductiveness, it's totally listenable and singable and meaningful. The overlength and overproduction gives this song (and the other songs on Be Here Now) their unique charm. This song makes one feel alive and well and things are going positively and you don't have to read over the lyrics to start singing along with it by the second chorus. There does seem to be something just not quite right with this song, but the charm is there- the Oasis charm. I dare you to listen to the whole song in one sitting as it's quite and experience. This song is also in AT&T commercials right now.
