Actually I think that this song is about the narrator of the song getting out of a bad relationship and realizing that she doesen't need a significant other to be happy and find love, which you can find in friends and family, who will be there for you in the end and realizing it after being too attached to someone and being too blinded to realize that there are other forms of love. about the meaning, I think the song is a love song, about 2 people who did love each other more then anything, and they were invincible, that no one could stop them, except themselves, but since he is saying it as if the romance is over, he/she feels heart broken about it, it almost reminds me of The beatles song "across the universe", in a sense, it has that mood to it anyways, i love it. |

Lol anyways I think this is a great pick-me-up song saying you should not do what people tell you too, or be forced to do anything you do not want too, and expressing yourself the way you want. Noel said the song is about when he was young his dad always told him what he should do and stop playing music. The outro I skip alot as well...but its a great song none the less. |
