when we born we are cold, crying and we knew nothing about the ugliness of this world .We are clear then while growing up we let the spectrum in we let the others ideas , thoughts feeling interfere with us and live through us and we let ourselves out watching our lives pass through us.
Say my name out loud and remind me who I am my true self and i'll forget the fear and wildness that i've been living and all these colors that pass me will bright.
We will come wearing blue, it's life like an ocean full of everything and we want all the worldly things forgetting our souls ( kissing eyes and palms).
And when we pray she choose the color gray it's like the fog we don't know why we pray lying at ourselves before others we aren't clear enough to connect to the higher entity( i 'm not really a believer but i do believe that all human are connected to each others before all this hate that rule the world now) so we have metal tongues it's heavy and hard for it to tell the truth and silver lungs that breath out lies.
Then after we die who we love scream our names and cry, they wear black they will not eat and sleep and because of this our souls we'll be dragged out and wish to stay with them.

If you see at the beginning we were clear... "clear" hides no lie, what its clear its truth.
"until we let the spectrum in" that is until we accept the antichrist, Spectrum has no light, A spectrum can only reflect light, its a crystal that reflects light in many colors, but has no light itself, GOD is the light and has light in itself.
So by saying "his name" you wont be afraid anymore... but afraid of the antichrist, who else??
The verse when it says "the ocean in our hands", its talking that at first the antichrist will convince the world to join its side, apparently being good and giving solution to many problems...
the verse of "when we come back we'll be dressed in black" its all evil reviling itself, black meaning death, now he owns you and you wont drink or sleep... there is nothing but despair and death.

In this verse she is telling you she is awakened, she can see the truth, she is illuminated. She is shining and realises she is a spark of light/ God. Because of this there is no need to fear, we are immortal.

Blue symbolizes peace, confidence and unity. I believe the ocean represents the universe, brothers and sisters in arms incarnating to help heal, awaken and raise vibrations for humanity for the oncoming ascension.

Grey Symbolizes strength and sophistication. Metal on our tongues means 'We come with strong illuminating words" and silver in our lungs "And we proud of it".

Black symbolizes authority and power. "We come in force, we are ready for battle, we will do everything in our power and sacrifice our own important needs to not let humanity be sent to their graves".
Just think about all the negativity happening on earth. Pollution, wars, corruption, poverty, famine, greed, insecticides and additives in our food, etc. We are destroying ourselves and we think this is the norm.
In most of Florence's songs she makes references to enlightenment. This is her form of lightwork to humanity. In her song "No Light No Light " she explains to you why her songs are in riddles, because she is understands that people would ridicule her if she said what she thinks straight out.

There are some ironies in the words. Please look at the lyrics very carefully.
It tells about light. Light is important because it's source is Sun. Sun is important to ILLUMINATI. They belive that the sun is the only energy source in the world. And has no color until it comes to world. If there were no sun on world, it gets no warm. After sun shine arrives world it gets warm and everything illuminates in colour.
Blue: "when we come for you" means rising to the sky.
"Kissing eyes and kissing palms" may recall "eye in the palm" sign for ILLUMINATI.
Gray: "when it’s time to pray" means realtion with the other people.
I don't have any idea for " metal on our tongues, and silver in our lungs" But according to video clip it may be about history of ancient Egypt. Because ancient Egypt believes an "Sun God".
Black: "when we come back" is the most important point. I cannot believe how they will come back? And why they are dragging bodies from their graves without eating and sleeping...
Florence should give an offical explanation of this songs. I am wonder what she tell about in this song?
I have to disagree with most people on here. I do not believe this song is about a relationship. To me this song is about the liberation of a group. I believe that this particular group is the LGBT community, not because of connection between a spectrum and the rainbow flag that has been popularized as a symbol for the LGBT community. To me, generally speaking, the song goes through a process of first being afraid and not having an identity to being proud and full of joy, where being called who you actually are is not offensive.
Again, we may never really know what it is about, but this is just my take on it! Enjoy!
BUT! I agree with your train of thought with it being about the LGBT community. Or hell, just about someone that is hiding their true self from others.

I believe that could be interpreted as being blank, or hidden from others.

But then the person let in the light, and came to revelation about his/herself.

I'm not sure about the praying, but I could see dressing in gray as hiding again, as trying to pass as background noise and go unnoticed. And metal on your tongue being as you have to hold your tongue. Someone that has silver in their lungs could be someone use to being cunning or lying.

But every time someone actual sees the person for who they really are, the person again becomes whole, "illuminated".
Anyways, that's my interpretation of the song, which sort of is similar to what you saw while listening to it.
"And you'll scream our names aloud" I think showing that their is anger and upset, that they can't "illuminate" anymore and it hurts them, or that the other person is getting frustrated, like long relationships do: people take it out on each other.
"And we won't eat and we won't sleep" Is almost showing that they are surviving themselves of their affections because of the argument. "We won't sleep" (oh dear, it there a problem in the, you know.)
"We'll drag bodies from the ground" I always see as meaning the reverse of the "Shake it out" line "Bury that horse in the ground," meaning they are using things from their pasts to hurt one another.
But it is a happy ending. The long pause after this verse maybe indicating to letting the dust settle, and when Florence sings the chorus again, she sings it in a soft and more 'sympathetic' tone, to me meaning she wants to say sorry, and that their is no one else for her in the world "aaaaaawwwwwww"
