I can't be more obvious
She's a pain
Won't even let me in
From the rain
All the windows are locked again
'Cause she's afraid
Of everything that I have to say
To her face

So try to look in my eyes
Tell me that you're not surprised
'Cause nothing is changing
Everyone has to lie sometimes
Do you know what it's like
To make up your mind?
Don't be alarmed when sinners stand
While the world is spinning

I can't be more obvious
I'm in pain
She won't even let me in
From the rain
All the pictures in the frames are cracked
'Cause she's afraid
Of everything they're gonna say
Behind her back

So try to look in my eyes
Tell me that you're not surprised, oh no
'Cause nothing is changing
Everyone has to lie sometimes
Do you know what it's like
To make up your mind?
Don't be alarmed when sinners stand
While the world is spinning (x2)

So look in my eyes
Tell me that you're not surprised
'Cause nothing is changing
Everyone has to lie sometimes
Do you know what it's like
To make up your mind?
Don't be alarmed when sinners stand
Don't be alarmed when sinners stand
While the world is spinning

    My Opinion

He said he wrote this song in Canada while shooting Camp Rock 2 and he said in his concert that "this songs are all about things that real to me, that I wanna share with you tonight" and he sing this song. Maybe this song is about a friend in the Camp.

I can't be more obvious She's a pain Won't even let me in From the rain

I feel like he's having a trouble to this girl who's dealing with something and she wont let him share the pain with him. I feel like rain is CRY, she's in pain.

All the windows are locked again 'Cause she's afraid Of everything that I have to say To her face

The girl is afraid of what he might say to her that's why she's shutting him out, again and again.

So try to look in my eyes Tell me that you're not surprised 'Cause nothing is changing Everyone has to lie sometimes

You can tell if someone is lying if the person can't look to the eyes. So he want her to look in his eyes. He is like saying I understand you and don't be surprise about it because it's human nature that everyone has to lie sometimes.

Do you know what it's like To make up your mind? Don't be alarmed when sinners stand While the world is spinning

But the girl still wont speak up. He's so down about it and just say to his self "Don't be alarmed when sinners stand, while the world is spinning" because it's the reality.

I can't be more obvious I'm in pain She won't even let me in From the rain

He's in pain because maybe he's so close to this girl but wont tell him what's wrong.

All the pictures in the frames are cracked 'Cause she's afraid Of everything they're gonna say Behind her back

Maybe this girl is having some issues or being paranoid, maybe she's doing something wrong or hiding something that she don't want people to know but she can't hide it because it's too obvious. Maybe she's mess up with something.

Nick is so concern about this girl that he made this song. I felt like he's angry with this girl because she's lying to him. She might saying she's fine but she's not. I felt this song is for Demi Lovato. She's bipolar and she harmed herself and nobody knows about it until she went on rehab on 2010.

Fast Car
Tracy Chapman
"Fast car" is kind of a continuation of Bruce Springsteen's "Born to Run." It has all the clawing your way to a better life, but in this case the protagonist never makes it with her love; in fact she is dragged back down by him. There is still an amazing amount of hope and will in the lyrics; and the lyrics themselve rank and easy five. If only music was stronger it would be one of those great radio songs that you hear once a week 20 years after it was released. The imagery is almost tear-jerking ("City lights lay out before us", "Speeds so fast felt like I was drunk"), and the idea of starting from nothing and just driving and working and denigrating yourself for a chance at being just above poverty, then losing in the end is just painful and inspiring at the same time.

Page
Ed Sheeran
There aren’t many things that’ll hurt more than giving love a chance against your better judgement only to have your heart crushed yet again. Ed Sheeran tells such a story on “Page.” On this track, he is devastated to have lost his lover and even more saddened by the feeling that he may never move on from this.
