I hate the way he doesn't seem to care about the girl in this song. Like, he says he sees "a shadow of emotion" in her face, but he brushes that thought aside straight away, all he cares about is whether or not he was any good.

Are men supposed to care about a prostitute's feelings? I think you missed the point here. <br /> Also, I give a lot of credit to men who'll even admit to having feelings of inadequacy, as society has taught many of them to push these feelings down and not acknowledge them. <br /> <br /> Here's a guy owning up to feeling inadequate, and the only thing you can think of is "but what about the poor girl he's with?!?"
