Jeanny, komm', come on
Steh' auf, bitte
Du wirst ganz nass
Schon spät, komm'
Wir müssen weg hier
Raus aus dem Wald
Verstehst du nicht?
Wo ist dein Schuh?
Du hast ihn verloren
Als ich dir den Weg zeigen musste
Wer hat verloren?
Du, dich?
Ich mich?
Oder
Oder, wir uns?

Jeanny, quit livin' on dreams
Jeanny, life is not what it seems
Such a lonely little girl in a cold, cold world
There's someone who needs you
Jeanny, quit livin' on dreams
Jeanny, life is not what it seems
You're lost in the night
Don't wanna struggle and fight
There's someone who needs you (hey, babe)

Jeanny (Jeanny), quit livin' on dreams
Jeanny (Jeanny), life is not what it seems
Such a lonely little girl in a cold, cold world
There's someone who needs you (there's someone who's gonna need you, baby)
Jeanny (Jeanny), quit livin' on dreams
Jeanny (Jeanny), life is not what it seems
You're lost in the night
Don't wanna struggle and fight
There's someone who needs you (there's someone who's gonna need you, baby)
(Na na, Jeanny)

„Newsflash

Hey ah
As long as someone's gonna need you, babe, na na
Jeanny, quit livin' on dreams
Jeanny, Jeanny, Jeanny
You're lost in the night
Don't wanna struggle and fight
Just know, there's someone who's gonna need you, baby
Jeanny (Jeanny), quit livin' on dreams
Jeanny (Jeanny), life is not what it seems
Such a lonely little girl in a cold, cold world
There's someone who needs you (there's someone who's gonna need you)
Jeanny (Jeanny), quit livin' on dreams (quit living on dreams now)
Jeanny, life is not what it seems
You're lost in the night
Don't wanna struggle and fight
There's someone who's gonna need you
Jeanny (Jeanny), quit livin' on dreams
Jeanny (Jeanny), life is not what it seems
Such a lonely little girl in a cold, cold world (cold world)
There's someone who needs you (there's someone who's gonna need you)
Jeanny (Jeanny), quit livin' on dreams

A quick translation for people who don't undestand german:

Jeanny, come, come on Get up - please, you're getting all wet It's late, come - we must get out of here, out of the forest, you know? Where is your shoe, you lost it, when I had to show you the way. Who has lost? You you? I me? Or, we us?

It's cold, we've got to get out of here, come Your lipstick is smeared You bought it and I saw it Too much red on your lips and you said: "Leave me alone" But I saw though you, Eyes say more than words You need me, don't you, hmh? Everyone knows we're together from now on, now I hear them! They're comming They're comming to take you They won't find you Nobody will find, you with me

Newsflash: In the past few months the number of missing persons has gone up dramatically. The latest report from the local police tells us about another tragic case. It involves a 19 year old girl, last seen two weeks ago. The police does not rule out the possibility of foul play.

    Creepy Falco, great song :)

i love this song! all the engergy in it... 6th of feb.... 8 years since his death.

    meaning:

as creppy as it sounds, is about something you so dearly want and cannot attain. you want it to be yours, and yours only. "They're comming to take you" so he abducts her. to live with him forever. "Nobody will find you, youre with me" i dont get it if he just kidnaps her and they move away or if he actually kills her so they are joined in death. "Everyone knows we're together from now on," hmmm..

    You gotta love it! {{ his music lives to the day }}

Falco was one of a kind.. Struggling his life, and finding his dreams has been crushed and the hell he suffered by the industry.. Jeanny pt1 & pt 2 Was a simple love song - the image you see are reflections of cruel reality.. but it's no more than a search to find the girl of his dreams.. but reality gets in the way... (if you hear jeanny part 3 it's not official so don't think of it as a real faclo song !!!)

I think it tells the story of a man who is in love with a young lady, in this situation we call him child molester, he made love to her and then killed her and since he is in a trauma, he yells out as if she was still alive and the others are coming to take her away from him, but in fact they come to take him.

    Good song though!

    Here's a silly party trick:

Let's say you meet someone whose English is so good that you can't tell where they're from. If they're old enough to remember 1986, just say one word: Falco. Most people will just say "the Amadeus guy?" But anyone from Austria or Germany will immediately begin loudly singing the chorus to "Jeanny". And now you can pretend that you recognized their accent, and can tell that their native language is German.

    My Interpretation

This song is not about Jeanny, this song is about the guy who adores her, loves her, wants her and kidnaps her.

He's stalking her (Du hasst ihn gekauft und ich habe es gesehen / You bought it and I saw it) He's totally freaked about everything she does and gets mesmerized by her. The lines "Quit livin on dreams" and "Life is not what it seems" suggest that he will protect her against the "cold, cold world". The paradox is that she needs to be protected against the Psyco guy himself. He wants her but obviously can’t get her (there's someone who needs you). The song ends (the clip) where he is detained in a Psycological department which tells us that he's the real Psycho here. But, "Jeanny" is there as well and is teasing him (kiss on the cheek with her red lips) and appearing in normal clothes as in a "wedding" dress as well. Probably this is all happening in his mind and part of the Jeanny obsession. The story continues in "Coming home (Jeanny part II) which is not that great as the Jeanny part I song. Anyway, "Jeanny" is an absolute classic from the eighties written by Bolland & Bolland, sang by Falco. Simply brilliant!

Son Şansın - Şarkı Sözleri
Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.

Mountain Song
Jane's Addiction
Jane's Addiction vocalist Perry Farrell gives Adam Reader some heartfelt insight into Jane’s Addiction's hard rock manifesto "Mountain Song", which was the second single from their revolutionary album Nothing's Shocking. Mountain song was first recorded in 1986 and appeared on the soundtrack to the film Dudes starring Jon Cryer. The version on Nothing's Shocking was re-recorded in 1988. "'Mountain Song' was actually about... I hate to say it but... drugs. Climbing this mountain and getting as high as you can, and then coming down that mountain," reveals Farrell. "What it feels to descend from the mountain top... not easy at all. The ascension is tough but exhilarating. Getting down is... it's a real bummer. Drugs is not for everybody obviously. For me, I wanted to experience the heights, and the lows come along with it." "There's a part - 'Cash in now honey, cash in Miss Smith.' Miss Smith is my Mother; our last name was Smith. Cashing in when she cashed in her life. So... she decided that, to her... at that time, she was desperate. Life wasn't worth it for her, that was her opinion. Some people think, never take your life, and some people find that their life isn't worth living. She was in love with my Dad, and my Dad was not faithful to her, and it broke her heart. She was very desperate and she did something that I know she regrets."

Plastic Bag
Ed Sheeran
“Plastic Bag” is a song about searching for an escape from personal problems and hoping to find it in the lively atmosphere of a Saturday night party. Ed Sheeran tells the story of his friend and the myriad of troubles he is going through. Unable to find any solutions, this friend seeks a last resort in a party and the vanity that comes with it. “I overthink and have trouble sleepin’ / All purpose gone and don’t have a reason / And there’s no doctor to stop this bleedin’ / So I left home and jumped in the deep end,” Ed Sheeran sings in verse one. He continues by adding that this person is feeling the weight of having disappointed his father and doesn’t have any friends to rely on in this difficult moment. In the second verse, Ed sings about the role of grief in his friend’s plight and his dwindling faith in prayer. “Saturday night is givin’ me a reason to rely on the strobe lights / The lifeline of a promise in a shot glass, and I’ll take that / If you’re givin’ out love from a plastic bag,” Ed sings on the chorus, as his friend turns to new vices in hopes of feeling better.
