Ninety miles outside Chicago
Can't stop driving
Don't know why
So many questions
I need an answer
Two years later you're still on my mind
What ever happened to Amelia Earhart
Who holds the stars up in the sky
Is true love once in a lifetime
Did the captain of the titanic cry

Someday we'll know
If love can move a mountain
Someday we'll know
Why the sky is blue
Someday we'll know
Why I wasn't meant for you

Does anybody know the way to Atlantis
Or what the wind says when she cries
I'm speeding by the place that I met you
For the ninety seventh time tonight

Someday we'll know
If love can move a mountain
Someday we'll know
Why the sky is blue
Someday we'll know
Why I wasn't meant for you

Someday we'll know
Why Sampson loved Delilah
One day I'll go
Dancing on the moon
Someday you'll know
That I was the one for you
I bought a ticket to the end of the rainbow
I watched the stars crash into the sea
If I could ask God just one question
Why aren't you here with me

Someday we'll know
If love can move a mountain
Someday we'll know
Why the sky is blue
Someday we'll know
Why I wasn't meant for you
Why Sampson loved Delilah
One day I'll go
Dancing on the moon
Someday you'll know
That I was the one for you

Seeing you in February was great
Cliches all come true 'time heals all wounds'
I went to get us our ninth drink
And you ran out the door with another guy
I woke up on the floor with my shoes on
A smile on my face and I didn't even care

He found the perfect girl and she dumped him. He's still heartbroken. This is the only song that puts me on the verge of tears. I fell hard for a girl, she decided to date someone else, and I was crushed. That was the lowest I have ever been. Soon after, I heard this song and it hit me like a ton of bricks. We eventually reunited and it still didnt work, but I had closure. This tune reminds me of the power of a song and how it can impact you. That was a horrible time in my life but one that I learned a lot from. And this song will always be part of me. The group didn't last long but they had this one song I could relate to that impacted me.

    I love this song. It is pretty self explanitory. I love this part;

"I bought a ticket to the end of the rainbow I watched the stars crash in the sea If I could ask God just one question Why aren't you here with me, tonight!?"

    Beautiful.

I love this song, it really makes you think about certain people that have been in your life.

I think it was really fitting on the film A Walk To Remember when he's dancing with her, you wouldn't think of it as that time of song which you could slow dance to, I do now tho, It would be a good one Keeps that in mind

One of the most played on my Ipod Great song =]

a great hoping song.I always hope me and my ex will get back together again someday, although it seems so impossible coz we're not meant to be for particular reason.but there's always hope and I think it's the right song to express it.

I love this song! It always reminded me of my ex, and then he sent it to me one day. MixMasterMatty, you are a romantic, not a pussy. Don't ever live in fear. Go for it! (see "You Get What You Give".)

the part ' why i wasn't meant for you' was probably his frustation of why he couldnt hook up with the girl.. and tried to accept the truth ... no matter how hard he tried he still had that hope that the girl would eventually realize that he was thee One fer her (someday you'll know i was the one for you).. it is a great hoping song... oh yeah. are the new radicals still together?!

Fortnight
Taylor Swift
The song 'Fortnight' by Taylor Swift and Post Malone tells a story about strong feelings, complicated relationships, and secret wishes. It talks about love, betrayal, and wanting someone who doesn't feel the same. The word 'fortnight' shows short-lived happiness and guilty pleasures, leading to sadness. It shows how messy relationships can be and the results of hiding emotions. “I was supposed to be sent away / But they forgot to come and get me,” she kickstarts the song in the first verse with lines suggesting an admission to a hospital for people with mental illnesses. She goes in the verse admitting her lover is the reason why she is like this. In the chorus, she sings about their time in love and reflects on how he has now settled with someone else. “I took the miracle move-on drug, the effects were temporary / And I love you, it’s ruining my life,” on the second verse she details her struggles to forget about him and the negative effects of her failure. “Thought of callin’ ya, but you won’t pick up / ‘Nother fortnight lost in America,” Post Malone sings in the outro.

Standing On The Edge Of Summer
Thursday
In regards to the meaning of this song: Before a live performance on the EP Five Stories Falling, Geoff states “It’s about the last time I went to visit my grandmother in Columbus, and I saw that she was dying and it was the last time I was going to see her. It is about realizing how young you are, but how quickly you can go.” That’s the thing about Geoff and his sublime poetry, you think it’s about one thing, but really it’s about something entirely different. But the lyrics are still universal and omnipresent, ubiquitous, even. So relatable. That’s one thing I love about this band. I also love their live performances, raw energy and Geoff’s beautiful, imperfectly perfect vocals. His voice soothes my aching soul.

Fast Car
Tracy Chapman
"Fast car" is kind of a continuation of Bruce Springsteen's "Born to Run." It has all the clawing your way to a better life, but in this case the protagonist never makes it with her love; in fact she is dragged back down by him. There is still an amazing amount of hope and will in the lyrics; and the lyrics themselve rank and easy five. If only music was stronger it would be one of those great radio songs that you hear once a week 20 years after it was released. The imagery is almost tear-jerking ("City lights lay out before us", "Speeds so fast felt like I was drunk"), and the idea of starting from nothing and just driving and working and denigrating yourself for a chance at being just above poverty, then losing in the end is just painful and inspiring at the same time.

Son Şansın - Şarkı Sözleri
Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.
