Acheron is so right about the 'private hurt that no one else feels' thing. But I really do feel that suicide is the coward's way out. Because it's true that everybody hurts and everybody has problems. But we have to learn to deal with it. Imagine how much pain we would inflict on our loved ones if we decided to end our lives. No matter how bad things get, we should always remember that someone does care for us deeply. If we end our existence, not only do we destroy our own lives, we destroy the lives of the people around us too. So when you are at the end of your rope, just reach out! There is actually a part of the song which Big Mountain neglected which starts like this "If I leave here tomorrow, will you still remember me..". This part of the song changes everything. This song gives me the impression of a boy and a girl falling in love at a beach during a holiday but the boy doesn't want to settle down. He wants to see the world so he leaves the girl. Kind of sad actually. |
