this song and desaparecidos makes me think that conor now just hates the world and not life its self which is reassuring to me that he won't be killing himself anytime soon i also really LOVE the line ''i don't read the reviews, no i'm not singing for you'' because more great artists like himself need to remember why they are singer/songwriters so they don't sell out |

i love the way conor wrote this because he seems like the husband is really bitter towards the wife about all the things he has to do to support her but you can tell that he loves her so much from the line "But if you want to make a run for it my love I’d cover you and if you need money for bills my lover I could cover you" so he's doing this to make her happy because he loves her and those lines are just so sweet, but then in the latter he gets too wrapped in it and she doesn't see all the love he really has for her and thats really sad but very true in our society now |
