this song has one of the fastest and most brilliant guitar solos i have ever heard before. the guitarist is a complete genius and could probably hold his own with the greats like michael angelo batio and yngwie easily. slash would shit his pants if he tried to beat him. only solo i can think of now that might be out of his reach is "time traveler" by michael angelo. if you want to argue with me on how hard this song is to play, ive been playing for about 10 years now, and i cant even touch the solo. i doubt a lot of professional guitarists couldnt either. they probably couldnt get this good ever. |

i dont think hes screaming about how much he likes water. maybe its really good natural spring water. i sure love a nice cold glass of spring water now and then. i think his favorite brand is dasani. that stuff is really good. everytime i open a bottle i yell "DAMN THIS IS THE FINEST FUCKING WATER I HAVE EVER HAD!" man, water is awesome. probably the most consistent drink of all time. no matter what, you always know what you're going to get. i know i could write a song about how cool water is.
anyway water does not represent purity in this song. alcohol purifies most cuts, scrapes, etc. much like it purifies troubles in his mind. i am drinking alcohol right now. |

This song has a lot to do with opening yourself up to people, rather than keeping all your problems to yourself. we had this retreat back in high school called kairos...if any of you have experienced this, then you probably would think this song is fitting. the key to happiness is to let yourself be open to other people and not be afraid, because as much as you might think its stupid, or think the other person you are talking to thinks youre weak, its reassuring to know that really they know what you are talking about. its not something to be afraid of. we all feel the same ways, its stupid to hide it, but we all do to feel normal because we are not used to living like that. one really fun thing to do if you havent for a while is to have a deep conversation with a friend, cry or "breakdown" if you want, it feels great.
