Wow I can't believe that nobody has commented on this song yet. I totally love this song.....I can't listen to it enough. To me, without really reading into it, or figuring out what the writer meant it to be about......I see it as someone who loves another person so much, but it's more like unrequitted love. Since the love isn't returned, the person is in so much pain they just see their love as a sharp razorblade that will slowly eat them away until they share a deep love. I also love the beat and his voice....and just....everything. Good good goooood song! :-D |

I don't really listen to country but I was scanning thru the channels the other evening and I heard this song. It really caught my attention, especially since I'm better able to understand what he's talking about now. I think some songwriters have a problem and come across rather cynical, but in this song I feel the complete opposite. I like it! :) |

To me, it sounds like this person is a great deal of denial. Goes from loving him and wanting to be with him to pushing him away. I think the person has larger issues to deal with, and that explains the flipping out at the other person. |

For the most part, I agree with the lyrics of this song. Many times I find friends and myself thinking that everybody else has it better off then they do. When in reality, it can always get worse. It's just that it depends on what things you take for granted until one time you realize that it's been taken away from you. |

Believe it or not, I enjoy this song a lot. I think it's a...more humorous way of describing somebody who is feeling down or depressed. When people are depressed, not matter what they try and do to distract themselves, they end up feeling surrounded by this empy and sad feeling. I like the song:-) |
