i agree with xfifteenstiches, the other pixies songs have a handful of comments, and because this one song was in a couple of films everyone loves it. they were a great band who were responsible for a hell of a lot of other great bands, and they don't get the respect or recognition they deserve. kim went on to reform her old band the breeders with her sister, black francis changed his name to frank black and started a solo career, if that answers your "where are they now" questions. |

i return, with more info. this song was written by propagandhi, yes WRITTEN BY PROPAGANDHI, for the album "how to clean everything", which had something to do with fat mike from nofx, i forget what exactly. for more info go to the propagandhi website. but it was written by PROPAGANDHI, not AAA. AAA did a cover. LTJ have NEVER sung this song. |

This song reminds me of a time, just after i went to the pitz (a local alt music club) and me and some mates were hanging about in my mate's spare flat drinking and doing stupid stuff, with ska playing full volume. it was in this time i met the girl who'd later be my girlfriend. now we've broken up and i'm listening to this song again and it has so many memories of better times, and the lyrics kinad fit now. for months we thought this song was by mustard plug, having only the mp3, but i just discovered it's by reel big fish. |

this song is on the Propagandhi album "how to clean eveything". ages ago when i first downloaded it it was credited to AAA, but it was the Propagandhi version. there are also versions credited to LTJ. i found a second version once, a live one, but i don't know if it was AAA, LTj or just Propagandhi live. |

yes, the lyrics here are wrong, as is the title of the song itself. it's also clearly about racial discrimination, as the "chosen whites" and burning crosses parts prove. and as to whose name, probably god, the KKK and racists in general believing themselves to be the chosen ones, a superior strain of human. |
