Weezer – Island In The Sun Lyrics

It has some happy aspects, i think its what a guy is telling his girlfriend after something catastrophic has happened like parents are moving and forcing him or her to come and their forced to part. He's trying to calm her by telling her that they'll run away to some paradise where pain, agony, and worries of the present are nowhere to be found. They can forget the bad times, they can have fun and play and be perfect. and the sad part is that that'll never happen because in life, there are no islands in the sun. |

A lot of them are built the same on this album tho, catchy 2-3 verses and then a riff or two for fans to sing to themselves, then kick off the last verses really good.
Good song tho, if he's bitching about no sex and he says to fuck with her, their better off away from eachother anyway. But sex is not a given in any relationship. I'd side with the girl. |

I think it trys to capture those precious all-too-few moments before you do something too great for words, and too personal for it to mean a thing to anyone but you. It gives the impression that, whatever your working toward, its gonna come out great. |

i think its about a guy telling a girl that she's in love with him, but she cant see it, because she cant take from the experience he has had in the past. He's begging her to listen to something she cant hear. |

Elton John – Rocket Man Lyrics

Stewie is the reason I came upon these lyrics. Will Shatner's version is catchy as well. I perfer Elton johns version tho. It's obviously about an astronaut. Is he refering to Touchdown Station? brings me around, perhaps a space station, I dont recall a ship being called the Touchdown.
Wow, just imagine what it must be like up there... |

Aha, teddy, your a racist too. making fun of my black heritage just because my peeps are from africa, y'aint nothin' but a cracka! KNAMEAN?!
This song makes me reflect on my fallen rappin' bruthas, sometimes i weep. Its also da white man, trying to bring the black man down. Theres another term for a hundred WHITE men, a 'lynch mob.' sho'nuff.
ps: this post is as much a joke as those two up there. I AM white, and I love the black man and their large penises. |
