The Vandals – Failure Is The Best Revenge Lyrics | 13 years ago |
There's one fcking line missing in the beginning, I don't get why people keep pasting they same wrong lyrics everywhere without checking first. |
The Mighty Mighty Bosstones – I Wrote It Lyrics | 14 years ago |
Damn, no comments, seems like PP&GJ didn't get much attention. Would've loved to know what he wrote about;) Buy the record btw, it's nothing like their earl stuff (almost no "core", only ska), but it's full of nice upbeat songs. |
Six Feet Under – A Journey Into Darkness Lyrics | 14 years ago |
Gotta love this song. The reason I got into Six Feet Under was songs like this one, songs with a message and not ONLY typical gore lyrics. There's nothing wrong with the sick stuff all death metal bands write, but songs that have a meaning are something special. |
Rancid – Adina Lyrics | 15 years ago |
Great song, like most songs with Matt Freeman on vocals. The bass is also nice on the first two records, and most of the lyrics are about urban life. Probably because they never got out of the U.S. until AOCTW got them worldwide airplay. |
Rancid – Damnation Lyrics | 15 years ago |
Pretty obvious meaning, the chorus says it all:) It kind of sux though that Greg Graffin drops by at the studio all he wants/gets to do is some gang vocals. |
Rancid – Vanilla Sex Lyrics | 15 years ago |
Nice cover including the neat Dope Sick Girl riff. Mike's voice wasn't that good yet on S&M airlines and Lars is a great singer, therefore it's one of the very few cover songs I like more than the original. |
Rancid – Bob (NOFX cover) Lyrics | 15 years ago |
@adsfkahsdf Strange to reply to a four year old post, but I'd like to know that too. Sounds like "XYZ records" instead of red suspenders. |
Rancid – New Orleans Lyrics | 15 years ago |
Great song, the best punk rock song on the album for sure, too bad there aren't too many... It kind of sux that Lars only has one song on the entire record, just like Matt. Way too much Tim in my opinion. As much as I love him as a songwriter, but he already did most of the vocals on Indestructible, one solo record and two Transplants records as well, while Viking came out 5 years ago with nothing new in sight. |
NOFX – The Agony of Victory Lyrics | 15 years ago |
It also says all songs written by Nofx. |
Rancid – Things To Come Lyrics | 15 years ago |
Yo, it' not the first time they've included lines from one song in another one. Like Time Bombs first verse was also the ferst verse of Motorcycle Ride from Let's Go. "If you wanna make a move then you better come in It's just the ability to reason that wears so thin Living and dying and the stories that are true The secret to a good life is knowing when your through..." |
Machine Head – Nausea Lyrics | 15 years ago |
Great song. When it came out I didn't really dig it (like most of Supercharger) because they had gone soft, but in retrospect it's a pretty good album because it's so different. When I'm in the mood for heavy shite I listen to BME, TMTC, TTAOE or TB, but when I wanna hear Rob sin, great melodies and some killer rhymes;) I dig out The Burning Red and Supercharger. |
The Mighty Mighty Bosstones – He's Back Lyrics | 15 years ago |
They aren't in the booklet neither.. Great song though, didn't know it was about Joe. |
Bad Religion – Ten in 2010 Lyrics | 16 years ago |
Crazy Taxi is full of Bad Religion and Offsrping songs;) |
Bad Astronaut – Stillwater, California Lyrics | 16 years ago |
Seems like a tribute to some dead punk friends, like Doornails by NoFX. Joey even mentions the some guys (Derrick, Bomer & Jason) |
Sick Of It All – Sanctuary Lyrics | 16 years ago |
Righ Jeff, Lou often thanks the crowd for keeping the scene alive before they play this song. There's even a vid of it on youtube. |

Mad Caddies – Rockupation Lyrics | 16 years ago |
I don't know why this song isn't that popular among their fans, it's definitely one of my top 5. Catchy melodies and a good message. Just One More is their best album to date, it's got the best mix between their faster and slower songs. |

NOFX – Cheese / Where's My Slice? Lyrics | 16 years ago |
Junkie is righ. From an interview back in the early 90's: "I wrote it about a friend of mine named Eric, this peace punk guy who lives on welfare lines and government checks. He doesn’t do shit and he’s always complaining about how the world owes him a living. He just drinks. He’s always going to demonstrations and complaining. The guy’s a bum. He’s living off the system, but he doesn’t do anything. The song is about him. You can also insert different groups of people into the lyrics and it fits in a general way. I suppose you could put women in it, poor people, some minorities, basically anybody that hasn’t gotten a fair shake. A whole bunch of different groups will fit. But I wrote it about a guy named Eric." |
NOFX – Seeing Double at the Triple Rock Lyrics | 16 years ago |
@deadbeat The song name is already a parody of "Double Trouble At Triple Rock", so another one would be weak;) |

NOFX – Dinosaurs Will Die Lyrics | 16 years ago |
Who's the guy screaming the "this is not a test.." intro? Sounds like the Anti Flag singer. |

NOFX – 60% (Reprise) Lyrics | 16 years ago |
Could anyone please post the lyrics to the hidden track? I figured out some (or all?) of them are demos for the monthly 7"es, but I don't know their names except for "There's No Fun In Fundamentalism" |

NOFX – Jaundiced Eye Lyrics | 16 years ago |
@tripper If you really think that you've been in a coma for the last 15 years, The older NoFX song lyrics are just more direct while they use lots of metaphors on their newer records. |

The Vandals – San Berdu Lyrics | 16 years ago |
I never really got into the Vandals because some of the lyrics on Hitler Bad, Vandals Good (first Vandals LP I had) could've been written by a 12 year old, but Look.. is way better and the great melodies weigh out the lyrics. |
NOFX – We March To The Beat Of An Indifferent Drum Lyrics | 16 years ago |
Great song with great lyrics, especially this part "Piss down throats, shit in cupped hands Wipe our asses with all foreign flags" Love that little intro riff, too bad they don't repeat it throughout the song. |

Strung Out – Calling Lyrics | 16 years ago |
Agree. Great song a great lyrics, like the entire album. Most of the words don't rhyme, but who cares;) I love the intro too. |
Machine Head – I'm Your God Now Lyrics | 16 years ago |
It's about Rob's heroin addiction, just like some other song off Supercharger. H is one hell of a drug, stay away from it;) |
Strung Out – Crossroads Lyrics | 16 years ago |
Could be true. Or they mean that the first one or two albums are just for fun, but after that the passion becomes just business and you have to make records to survive. |

Rancid – Disorder And Disarray Lyrics | 17 years ago |
Rancid didn't switch record label, just their distributor. A record label is responsible for the records, the distributors load them on big trucks or choo choo trains and bring them to your record store. If you still think they sould out, this song's for you. |
Genesis – Please Don't Ask Lyrics | 17 years ago |
I don't know too much about Phil's private life, but this one's seems to be about his divorce. He describes to typical behaviour of ex-couples, telling each other how good they look etc. and trying to be nice and start all over again. |

Lars Frederiksen And The Bastards – Viking Lyrics | 17 years ago |
People have claimed that Lars has become a poser, but he's just having fun telling stories on his solo shit. Some stories are about women, drinking and fighting and this one basically sums up his life and tells us how he became the man he is. Long live Rancid members, great song & album. |
Tim Armstrong – Inner City Violence Lyrics | 17 years ago |
Fantastic song. The verses are kind of hypnotizing and the lyrics are great, at least not every song on the LP is about girls;) I know some folx are going to curse Tim for the scratching and the hip hop like chorus, but I love this song. |
Tim Armstrong – Into Action Lyrics | 17 years ago |
Great song. I've never heard of Sky before so I don't care if she's an ongoing teen girl idol or something. This one's my favorite song on the album, together with Translator, Wake Up, Hold On, Take This City, Oh No, Among The Dead, Inner City Violence and Lady Demeter;) |

A Flock of Seagulls – Space Age Love Song Lyrics | 17 years ago |
I really hated songs like this one, until I ran ;) into GTA VC and VCS. Great love song. |
Love Fist – Dangerous Bastard Lyrics | 17 years ago |
Fist Fury is much better song, but this one's nice too for a fictional band. Buy the soundtrack! |
Wang Chung – Dance Hall Days Lyrics | 17 years ago |
Great song by Wang Chung, heard they reunited in 2005. BTW they have a song on VCS as well;) |
Strung Out – Jackie O Lyrics | 21 years ago |
Who's Jackie O? |
Lagwagon – I Must Be Hateful Lyrics | 21 years ago |
Sounds like a tribute to Jawbreaker ;) |
Lagwagon – E Dagger Lyrics | 21 years ago |
It's about Fat Mike's wife Erin |
F-Minus – Dragons Teeth Lyrics | 22 years ago |
I forgot the beginning: A social abscess With a plan mania at my command |
