I heard the demo they recorded of this in 94 and I liked it a lot. The cool thing is that it's been confirmed that its gonna be on Out of the Vein which means the have re-recorded it. What I'm wondering is did they change the lyrics or the song too much? It will be interesting to see. |

I just bought the CD and I already absolutely love this song. I can relate to it so much. I think it is a song about a guy who breaks up with this girl and at first he sort of denies that he still loves her and makes up excuses. But then later he realizes how much he misses her. Its a nice song that I think a lot of people can understand. |

Exactly, Wild Flower! This song absolutely rocked on the Elevation tour (as did 11 O'Clock Tick Tock). It's funny how their old stuff sounds somewhat better now. I really have grown to love this song and it's always a joy to hear them play it. |

I like this song and I would have to say its my favorite off of Zooropa in front of Stay and The First Time. It sounds like such a nice, sweet song but if you really look at the lyrics they sort of have a pretty sexual meaning. I guess its just disguised behind that smooth, flowing music box melody. |

Over time this song has become my true favorite Third Eye Blind song, along side Jumper. I think everyone at some point can relate to these lyrics and they are certainly beautiful. To me I see as a song about a girl that you really love but she doesn't feel that way about you. I made it a point to learn how to play this whole song on guitar. Its a song that can really change your mood. You feel good hearing it. This has got to be the most beautiful song I have ever heard. A true masterpiece-everyone should hear it! |

You know out of all of Aerosmith's newer songs (which i am not as big a fan of) I think this song is by far the best. It has such a great message. In this troubled world that we live in wouldn't it be so wonderful to just get away from it all. I really love the line
"Maybe you and I could pack out bags and hit the sky"
This song sort of takes you to a fantasy place while you listen to it and for a moment you are free from all the problems in todays world. It's like paradise. Such a beautiful song it is. I think its important to just forget about the bad stuff sometimes and just "fly away from here." |

I am now a fifteen year old boy from Pennsyvania. I posted something on this song a long time ago but since then something has happened in my life that has totally changed my outlook on this song. A few months ago a friend of mine who I had known for a few years decided to end his life. He shot himself and died in the hospital the next day. It shocked me and everyone who was close to him because it happened so suddenly and no one could have predicted it. We heard the news in school the day after it happened and everyone was just speachless. It was just too hard to believe something like this could happen. Jumper had, before then, always been one of my favorite Third Eye Blind songs but I had never really thought too much about the true meaning of it. After what had happened to my friend, I more understood what the song was really about and it took on a whole new life of its own. It made me wonder what I could have done to save my friend and I wish that I could go back in time and just let him hear the song and show him what the lyrics meant. Maybe if you go through an experience like I did, a song like Jumper just means a lot more to you. And I will never ever be able to hear Jumper and not think of my friend. It brings back so many memories of him. I will always love this song and it has more of a meaning to me than any other song I will ever hear. It really is a beautiful song and after losing a friend who committed suicide, it's good to know that there is an anti-suicide anthem out there. |

I really have always loved this song! It's one of my favorites. I love how it picks up and all of a sudden it's really distorted and cool. Anyway I heard that this song came from something Kevin told Stephen about how he was having these little attacks of deep sleep (thats what Narcolepsy is) and Stephen just wrote a song about it. I think the lyrics just reflect falling asleep and losing all your senses and just being lost in another world. Which I guess can happen sometimes when you fall asleep if you think about it. |

This is, in my opinion, U2's deepest song. It is the opposite of what people would think of it by hearing the title. It is actually a bitter song about how our world is in disarray and unless we do something about it, or as the person above said-if God saves us, we cannot acheive peace.

It is a very good song and I think you really have to look deep into the lyrics to understand the true meaning of it. |
