This song is absolutely amazing... I think it's talking about a girl who has never been able to settle down and has always just played guys... lying, cheating and being 'cruel' and now she has played this guy too, and he's looking back on it, and saying that she almost changed to be with him, (you were almost kind, you were almost true..) but just she just couldn't b/c she's always been like that.. and he didn't want to believe that she couldn't change b/c he really wanted to be with her (Don't let me see That other side of you ) i think that he honestly beleives there's a good hearted side to her, and he wants to see it, but she won't let him.. |

| i actually think that this song has a much deeper meaning than the literal lyrics... its a good song, and like webchef said, the lyrics are pretty creepy - but i really think there is an underlying theme or message here..... | |
