to me, it signify's the heartbreak, maybe that of David Moore, fresh out of high school, and maybe spending the summer with a close friend who has always been there, all their life until it comes time to move on, and start a new life. it quote's the month "august", generally the month when people pack up and move off to college. It means a lot to me because I lost my best friend that august, after the best summer of my life, just after graduating high school, then came time when everyone moved on, and this song always reminds me of that, and ill always miss her. |
