Exactly how did going out with Kelly Osbourne, make him gain fame. Kelly has no pull in the industry although her mother and father do but why would they waste their time on the Used? The Used were already gaining popularity when he started dating Kelly, if anything it hurt the Used more than anything since no one in the industry really believes that Kelly has talent. |

The Video doesn't match the song. I think the reason for that is that a school shooting in the video wouldn't exactly be a great way to promote a song in this day and age. With the whole Video though, if you pay attention you notice that the reason why Mary's life was "stole" was because she finds out she is pregnant. And she had the baby, not just because she found the lonely boys body in the stall. I think the whole video is about how there are many ways someone can have their life 'stolen' either by their own hand, someone else's hand, or just plain poor choices.
Now on to the lyrics. The boy that Kelly is talking about went into the school one day and shot and killed Mary and Greg. He killed them before they could realize their potential and the song is trying to say that people should think before they act, by being at least polite to people and not ignorant. I don't believe that the boy killed himself though, rather he is in jail. Since she sings that "he isn't invisible anymore with his baggy pants and his legs in changes" Isn't that what some prisoners would wear? |

Did you ever think that he may be talking about a police officer dying? I don't know. I think that it might be about a police officer that is shot while doing his duty. Which is why he has no need for his badge, since he won't be using it any more. When he says he feels like he is knocking on heavens door, i think he means that he is between heaven and this life, that he isn't quite dead but he feels that he is dying and the knocking is actually just him waiting for death to come to him. And I don't think Mama is his mother either I think that he is talking to his wife. |

I think that it is ridiculous to go onto a site that is called songmeanings and tell others to not share what they feel the song is about. Excuse me Diciple90 but last time I checked Thinking a song wasn't about god and jesus didn't mean that I hate either one of them. I think you should take that large stick out of your ass. Nothing that I said said that your opinion on the song was wrong I was just wondering how you figured it all out. I like to thank you on your lousy ass opinion on how I somehow hate god and or jesus. Did you ever stop to think that some people who don't hate god believe that this song isn't about him? Like come on saying that it sounds like I hate him makes me think that somehow unless someone agrees with your opinion they must be some sort of sunworshing, god hating person. I would like to set the record staight that I don't hate god and the fact that you would write on here that you think I do makes me really upset. I would like to know what makes diciple90 think it has to do with god? Why would they have a song talking about god and jesus on the soundtrack for a spiderman movie. There isn't anything in the lyrics to this song that in any way make me think they are talking about Jesus coming to save us. It sounds to me that all the are trying to say is that You have to be your own hero instead of waiting around for someone to help you out. Do you think that most artists believe in worshiping the sun or something? |

I like Eminem, I think he's funny but the fact is that what he says is usually all in fun. So quoting something he sings in one of his songs to make a point is just a waste your precious time. I think that when Freddie Mercury is singing this song he trying to say that even though they are famous it took a lot of work and a lot of fighting to get up on top.
