This song was featured at the end of the 1st episode on the second season of "rescue me" and i must say, i've probably never seen such an emotional scene and it was mostly due to the song. I had to immediately find out who sang this song and download it. I've been listening to it constantly all day and everytime i can't believe the magnitude of his voice and the lyrics. What an incredible song. This is probably the single saddest (and not cheesy) song i've ever heard. |

it is kinda weird that the song is #11 on the disc (Sept.11?) and if you look in the liner notes, it is dated Sept 10. like it was the last day of innocence. However, i think it may just be a silent tribute and it could be about breaking up as well |

i think it's about someone taking complete care or even custody of someone against their willpower, maybe in a relationship like when he says, "I'm here seeking only what I need, In your mind is where ill plant my seed" like hes' trying to make whoever think like he does. He's trying to justify his reasoning by saying it's better off this way or else you could somewhere else doing something obsucre like "selling books at the airport" |
