I always interpreted as, him saying one of those two things (them being precious and everything she does making him want to die) being untrue, but not telling the listener which. So either, they're great together and everything she does DOESN'T make him want to die, or they're not great together and everything she does makes him want to die.
It makes the ending awesome, because I can think about it both ways, and it can be a love song or the opposite. |

I got to Michigan Tech University, a school of about 8,000 people located in the Kewanee. This population estimate might be not counting the college, but Houghton and it's neighboring town Hancock are both vibrant communities.
Also, Calumet, located in the center of the Kewanee was very nearly the capital of Michigan, as it was one time the wealthiest county in the United States.
The Upper Peninsula is not some barren wasteland and his home to three colleges and a ton of amazing places to camp, sight-see, and investigate. |

haha he wrote them. i do however agree that they aren't the most poetic lyrics but conor has pledged to play nothing but self-pleasing rock while playing with the desaparecidos. and he does a good job with it. still, i agreed with a review i read that it sounds like pushed aside his journal that reads "heartbreak" and opened the one that said "political atrocities". whatever, though, his undying passion for everything is why all his music is so good. |

sound. So, these are *some* of the things it's about:
Being a member of an orthodox Trotskyist / Marxist movement (as I was for three years in the 80s).
Being a straight guy in love with a lesbian (ditto).
Being a gay guy in love with a straight man.
Being a straight girl in love with a lying, two-timing, fake-ass Marxist.
The hypocrisy that results when love and lust get mixed up with highbrow ideals :-)

i saw these guys live on the 16th at the shelter (with coheed and cambria, shai hulud couldn't make it). they played an awesome show and when they played this song they let the crowd sing the girl part and at the last girl part they pulled me and my friend and like 20 other people up on stage and it was so cool, fran gave me a drumstick when i asked.. it was so cool. |

for whatever reason, he says prodicle. listen to the song.. there is no g sound.. turn it way up, you hear the "ka" sound. maybe because of his drinks he says that, there is no g sound. |
