but i do kind of doubt that jeff would write about a horror movie. he mainly sticks to feelings as previous albums will remind you. i know there are a bunch of hXc bands that do shit like that, but i like to think ptw isnt just another hardcore band. |

and just one more thing....to any fans of the new material, or people that don't like it (esp. the latter), read the lyrics to one of their new songs Crystal Lake. it's the last song on the album and it pretty much says that they don't give a shit what people think about it, they're going to do it anyway. |

personally i think this song is pretty much a big fuck you to everyone that doesn't like the new shit. i know it sounds i'm just blabbing because i'm loyal and there are alot of people out there that dislike You Come Before You, but if you read the lyrics and listen to the song you'll see.
"I've fallen for this metal....so it's over for all of you".....think about it. |

alright, i made an account just to make this comment...poison the well's new stuff is fucking AWESOME. i happen to work at a record shop and was lucky enough to get the album in advance. i have been a fan of ptw since they released opposite of december, and i can tell every one of you that their new stuff is better than the old. the cd takes some time to grow onto you, but when it does, you all will be impressed. try to open your minds. dont just say, "oh its metal shit, it sucks." i was just like all of you...i heard the two songs up on the site and was very skeptical, but after listening to the entire album i realized how much they have evolved. and i can honestly say that this album is so much better than any of their others and if you guys would stop being so narrow minded you might be able to say the same. |
