this song is the worst DC song i have ever heard. if their new cd is anything like this, i will be really REALLY unhappy. u can hardly even hear chris's voice over all that techno shit, and at no point in the song can u hear an acoustic guitar, which DC is most notable for. u think dashboard, u think acoustic, not electric guitars and keyboards. i want to murder this song...i feel better now that i got that out. |

okay, anyone who has gone away from home for a while, like college or something, can relate to this song. kenny wrote this song directing it toward being in a band and always being on the road. and he is reciting phrases that he remembers his parents telling him while he lived at home. he's saying he won't forget the little things he learned from living at home and he's always thinking about his parents and thanking them for everything.
I love this song! it is definitely one of my favorite songs EVER! becuz i am also in the process of leaving for college, so i listen to it all the time...
