R. Kelly – Trapped In The Closet (Chapter 5 of 5) Lyrics | 18 years ago |
Ya you are the only one These songs are the shittiest pieces of "music" I have ever heard There is no melody nothing, its horrible It'd be good if he was doing it to be funny, but he's serious and that makes it EVEN funnier! If u like this crap and u dont understand how it sounds awful..watch the episode of South Park where they rip on it and it makes it quite clear how much this shit sucks... DAMMIT Where is Dave Chappelle when you need him?!?! A parody of this would KILL the "Im gonna piss on you." thing for sure...come back to us Dave, come back! |
Green Day – Shoplifter Lyrics | 19 years ago |
I agree that the song could go right before homecoming and it represents his final use of the St.Jimmy moniker, he gets arrested and decides to leave this life behind.....but an interpritation I am more confortable with is that this song goes right before "We Are The Waiting" and its JOS living on the streets trying to survive when he has no one and as a result of this lifestyle after "We are the Waiting" he decides to change into St. Jimmy and become more than he is...the only reason I dont like the other interpritation of the placement of the song is that it looks down on the subject as a petty theif and I always thought of the character of St Jimmy being much more than that...either way though the album is musically and lyrically amazing |

Green Day – Holiday Lyrics | 19 years ago |
I think that this song, in context to the story, its about JOS and a bunhc of the kids in his neiborhood getting together before some of them get shipped off to war and they are dicussing their views and drinking...Like the chorus: I beg to dream and differ from the hollow lies This is the dawning of the rest of our lives Is like a toast that evening, saying "I dont agree with the war, but I support the soldiers and tonight is the beginning of what our lives were ment for." and they are all together... then we go right into Blvd. Of Broken Dreams, which is about being hungover, so he's alone after the party cause all his friends have gone off to fight... thats how I string it together anyway |
3 Doors Down – Loser Lyrics | 21 years ago |
I am pretty sure that the song is about the ups and downs of a drug addiction...he nows how low he is and how much of a loser this makes him, Breathe in right away, Nothing seems to fill this place I need this every time, Take your lies get off my case Someday I will find a love That flows through me like this He needs this to survive and he wants everyone to leave him alone....and one day he'll find love that is like the drugs and like the drugs it will fade and he will need more and the part where he says : This is getting old, I can’t break these chains that I hold My body’s growing cold, There’s nothin left of this mind Or my soul Addiction needs a pacifier, The buzz of this poison is taking me higher This will fall away, This will fall away is showing how much this has taken him over and how he only feels good when he's high, but its just the drugs and not a real feeling so it'll fade away and he is gettting closer and closer to dying and he knows it and he is a loser who cant fight against his own addiction......at least that is how I interprit the actual lyrics...the sound of the song to me reminds me of a relationship that you are fully dependent on and you'll die if you lose it......later |
