obviously this song is about touring and being homesick, in another way i think it is about not wanting to selll out... not wanting to become another one of "those" bands.... my reasoning

this song is sooo amazing! so often new cds are a dissapointment. i have yet to hear anyone call this a dissapointment. i loved brand new before this album, but now... i must say i worship this cd definetely my fav song to start off with, i don tknow how long that will last maybe just because its one of the first on the album. they are so awesome. even better then yfw....keep it up |

this song is so great... some of the best song writing i have ever heard. I think everyone can relate to this song in a different way. To me...it reminds me of a situation in which the person you like is one of your best friends and they have complete control of you. Even if they are with someone else they still want you there... so they try to explain things away over and over but you are just on the point of giving up because you know they are just covering up. The "tell all your friends" is having control over him but not wanting anyone to know about it. Kinda like using someone, but geniunly caring about them, just not wanting to be seen with them. I hope that made sense... just my interpretation. |
