I think this song really has meaning that fare extends the lyrics of the song (whcih are equally good) Listen to those last notes of the song, and you'll understand what he was talking about. They notes build and build bexomong ever more hopeful, but rather than reaching that final note it drops...it's an awkward note, lonely, sad and unexpected. That's why it's so full of heart. For me it's like the singer got hurt by a girl who gave him meaning, because he loved her. And he did what he could for her, he sacraficed, he fought for her, but in the end she left him. Despite how good he had been to her, he was almost. And no matter how hard he tried to make her happy, or how hard he fought to make the realtionship work in the end it was pointless because it failed. And now here he is, and all he's learned it that by falling in love he lost everything. Pretty sad song. So full of anger and hurt. |

for me hoolywood is a bad thing and the song i about that one last day in whatevers hurting you before you go and find something really (a girl love, or freedom) of sorts, but he's caught and in a bittersweet tone...his last night in hollwood is his day before leaving. He's scared and unsure but excited..he's reliving regrets in his life, but he's gonna get out. The final "yeah" expresses his happiness and uncertainity. Of course that's just my opinion i could be wrong |
