The deal with pinkerton was that it was an extremely bad time for Rivers, not just the lack of popularity toward the album. Basically he doesnt like to play much off pinkerton because it reminds him of all of his bad memories from that time. The idea of the green album was to write a cd devoid of emotions. |

Let's get sometihng straight, Weezer are NOT talented musicians. It's all just a bunch of power chords and confused vocal harminies. However, they are very good at the genre simply because Rivers is a strong songwriter. |

Whenever Pink Floyd talks about any kind of machine, i get the sense that he's refrerring to the machine that controls "buisness," and in most cases with Pink Floyd, the part that's controlling music. If you read the song in terms that he's "within the machine of music," it makes a lot of sense. |
