I love Built to Spill, Modest Mouse, 764 Hero, Pavement, and the Pixies. This song is wonderful, probably one of my favorites by BTS. Its intersting to see people's different opinions on all these bands. I think they are all very influential bands in the whole Indie rock scene. |

This song is just about the big picture of life, and all the "meaningless" events leading up to the final death or the final moment where you are completely overwhelmed and have nowhere to turn. It shows how things are not important at all, a scribble or a sonnet. And when he says your lover is an actress, did you really think she would stay? its almost as if he is just saying "big deal, your gonna die soon" Its a scary song. but so bluntly honest. Its honesty is embarassing. |

goodness, this is my first bright eyes song. Wow...just wow. I heard that when he was young he watched his mom drown his little brother and that she almost killed him too? If thats true, then the lines "IÂ’m standing on a bridge
in the town where I lived
as a kid with my mom and my brothers.
And then the bridge disappears" are incredibly sad. This song kicks ass |
