P.O.D. – Youth Of The Nation Lyrics | 22 years ago |
It doesn't matter what religion you are. People put a lot of blame into kids for doing terrible things, like the school shootings. In the end, if the kids have not grown up with good parental guidence, they will grown up to disturbed people. Most depressed and/or suicidal kids come from broken homes or have abusive parents etc... I don't want to sound like I'm completely blaming parents, Kids are in control of their own actions. BUT!!! If a child is brought up in a kind, loving family, they will be happy and have more to live for than just to be depressed. The problem is, the majority of marriges end up in divorce. But that is yet another debating subject. |
P.O.D. – Youth Of The Nation Lyrics | 22 years ago |
I think that it's ironic that religion is the root of all evil. More people have been killed in the name of God than any other reason. The more extreme you are, the more peolpe die. Just look at Northern Ireland, the Middle East, Kashmir, the Inquisition, Hitler, the current state of Bethlehem and the World Trade Centre to realise that religion has never really had a big problem with killing. Don't kill anyone unless they believe in a different invisible man that you do, seems to be the way live for religion. So I think that putting your faith in God could be a dangerous thing. So with all this said, does the average angry high school kid really have many options? |
Metallica – Fade To Black Lyrics | 22 years ago |
Positively Metallica's greatest song, I think they will never be able to top this. Metallica are master composers and are never given enough respect in that sence. To fully understand me just listen to ...And Justice For All (my favourite Metallica album ) very carefully and you will see what I mean |
