That is a good point, but I don't believe that is correct. When he says "and not seeing that lovin' you, is what I was tryin to do" is referring to the girl. When her boyfriend died she had so many regrets. For example: when they were both in the truck and he asks her what she sees in the future, she simply smiles, kisses him and jumps out, whereas he said 'I see you."
Her heart is now breaking because she loved him and she never got the chance to express that before he died. She now wonders what it would be like if she could "do it over" and "give away all the words that she saved in her heart...that she left unspoken." She knows that she will regret this for the rest of her life, and she will never have the chance to let him know how she really felt. At the end of the video she tells him "I saw you" at the cross where he died, but it's not the same.
A real tear jerker I must say. |

This song is so good, but yet so sad. In the video, the girl is not pregnant. When she says "It's not true..it's not true" she is saying that because she doesn't want to face the fact that her boyfriend is dead. The main reason why she is so upset is because she left so many things unspoken. For example, when she asks him in the truck what he sees in the future he says 'I see you." Now he asks her in return and she just climbs out of the car and takes off. She never got to tell him how she really felt until she visit the cross at the end of the video. She wonders now what could've been if she had done it differently.
Very sad, and it certainly applies to a lot of people's situations. |

This song has so much emotion to it. My bf bought me his Livin' Right Now DVD, and when he performs this song it brings tears to your eyes. He sings it so beautifully and you can tell that's it's straight from the heart. He is an amazing artist and truly talented. This song is self explanitory, basically stating that she will think of him because int he end he'll come out the better person and she will know she made a mistake.

All I can say is wow. When I heard this song on the radio I immediately raced home to find out who sang it. I love Kelly Clarkson and I love this song so much.
It makes me think of my current relationship with this guy. I like him soo much, but he's so careless that I'm getting to the point where I just can't handle it anymore. I tell him everything in my life and I feel safe whenever he is around me, but I feel like I am hiding behind the truth...I know it has to end because I cannot keep trying to make this relationship work. I have to let him go and I know I'll be devasted when it's finally over.

I wasn't a big fan of Rascal Flatts until I heard this unbelievable song. It has so much meaning, and it made me feel so sad when I first heard it because my boyfriend and I had just broken up. Very beautiful song.

This is probably one of the best songs I have ever heard in my life. Her voice is so beautiful, and the way she sings it with such feeling and intensity brings tears to my eyes. This song could be about a loved one passing away or a relationship ending between the opposite sex.

Everytime I hear this song, or Strange Days it makes me cry. This song is about acting a different way, comparing it to TV when they tell them what to say. "The rat in your brain rules the world from the comfort of your living room" shows that TV affects all of us in some way or another and we go about our lives in some mechanical way that rules our brains into making us think that this is the right way to go. I love Matt Good, he's the most opinionated singer in Canadian rock music and I deeply respect him for that. |
