rolling stone said "they come with the flashing lights and take my..." refers to Kurt being an alien. they said all greats are aliens from space. fuck me. it's not even about him. then they referred to the line "when i was an alien, cultures weren't opinions" from nevermind. rolling stone sucks, so does spin. give blender a read, good mag so far. |

if god is, it's a woman. but, "god is a lesbian" does not rhyme with "stay away" now does it? im just having fun, this is a great song and i know gay is a term for both genders. i loved how kurt kissed dave and krist on sat night live to spite the you know whos!! |

Why am I hearing about Sid Vicious here? Kurt and the band are all talent, Kurt is a poet, they are all musicians, they all had a vision and meaning. Sid Vicious is an idiot. A real LOSER who had no talent, just an "image" for attention. A spoiled brat like many other punks. NO COMPARISON. |

Chill out on the murder thing and this being a "Suicide Note" song. All his albums displayed suicidal meanings and when he finally did it, it proves he's not whining and gutless. I don't agree with suicide but fuck, when you're depressed... And this song was written in 1990. The lyrics changed some. Kurt always said he wanted to be vague, let it mean what it does for you, that's music. Some of you had some great interpretations, others are lost like Kurt would like you to be. I don't know shit but in a previous album he states "god is gay" (stay away, nevermind) "What else can I say?" |
