This line kills me. I'm not really sure why but Ben just sounds so beautiful. I think the whole upside down thing has to do with the literal sense of how your brain really does see things upside down and then flip it, but also maybe how he sees every side of this person.
"I should have given you a reason to stay."
SIGHHHH. This line makes me the most miserable person in the world, but I can't help and listen to this song over and over. |

I know this song from The Adventures of Pete & Pete, and I think it's one of the most beautiful sounding songs I've ever heard. The meaning is pretty obvious, it's about falling out of love with someone. But to me this song just reminds me of my childhood because of Pete & Pete. |
