I love this song. Easily my favourite Brigade song, closely followed by Guillotine. I've loved Brigade since I first saw them perform at Underworld in Camden on November 3rd 2004. 2 years ago now! Wow! Have been following them ever since and they're amazing. Their music rocks and they're really nice guys. Anyway, what does this song mean to me? I don't really know. But I do know that everytime I hear it I start tapping my feet and I can't help but smile. And I'm going to have it played at my funeral. Just because I can. Also, I think some of the lyrics here are wrong... It's hard to make out. I believe the line is actually: "My open heart, you said you'd meet me at my funeral." Or at least that's what the inside of the album cover says... :) |

Have to agree with pdxguy, everyone does seem to have missed that. I always picture him as a scruffy street bum telling his story to bemused passers-by. And Shadowwiththeeyes, I fully appreciate what you're saying and I agree with it totally, it isn't fair. But the fact that Britney Spears can afford a private jet is a reflection on how society has changed over the last 40 years or so and you can't blame Busted or Britney or anyone for taking advantage of that for their own profit because given half a chance the vast majority of people would do the same thing. I wasn't stating that people are jealous of Busted's fame, I personally couldn't hack being famous, but people resent the fact that they are taking advantage of the changes in society to make money for themselves when in reality, given the chance to make shiploads of money there aren’t many people that would say no. And whilst it isn’t fair, posting crap on Busted’s lyric pages and being rude to people that like their music isn’t going to get you or anyone else anywhere. At the end of the day I respect your opinion and I fully agree with you. I love this song. I took my sisters to see Busted in concert at Wembley and seeing them perform this song (well Matt perform this song) is what got me hooked on their music. It's a great song and had me hooked right from the beginning. And quiffporn... before you decide to come and tell me I'm stupid and Busted are crap I would just like to point out that whilst I respect your opinion I don't appreciate you making comments about people rotting in hell and being cancerous lumps or whatever the hell other shit it was you came out with.
