Otis Redding – (Sittin' On) The Dock of the Bay Lyrics 22 years ago
It's finding home after walking two thousand miles of unchanging roads built by other people.

It's advice supercedeing all others: "That really sucks Fro, but you just have to keep Fro'n along"

This song is me, my future, and everthing in between. Sooths me into sleep and keeps my feet when i am running away from everything.

If you can't tell it's my favorite song and I'm not sure what I would do if it wasn't in my head.

Mad Caddies – Falling Down Lyrics 22 years ago
A complex song by my favorite Ska band, the lyrics start off witha descritption closer to a Ruphalized date rape that ends with the descimation of personal defenses because of love. I starting liking this song because of the sound and the last line, "it's hard to die when you're already dead." The song rememinds me of those times when I feel like my life is falling down.

Jeff Buckley – Lover, You Should've Come Over Lyrics 22 years ago
My favorite song right now because so many people don't realize the damage they've done and feel like they have no one. I realized my damage and I'm sorry to where I'd rather be alone than with someone other than her, lover should come over.

Dispatch – The General Lyrics 22 years ago
I'm not seeing a religious intonation since the indication is so weak, but yet easily fits. Never the less the lyrics are more indicative of a general during the civil war (grey morning) where families fought. His past fame is probably a reference to either the American-Indian wars during that time or the Revolutionary war.
Anyway, the important part is the young men must be living. The song isn't complely anti war but says not to be naive. When we are older and able to see things worth fighting for and things that are not worth the fight, then we can follow orders into the end.

Dispatch – Flying Horses Lyrics 22 years ago
The ring is from the flying horses, the flying horses are part of the carousel, and the ring is all rusted now. The song is about losing innocense (the ring is all rusted now). The woman wearing only hair is a virginal abstraction from a dream like the Venus de Milo and the old men are time expanding his reality beyond what he can only see through child's eyes.
