Led Zeppelin – Hats Off to (Roy) Harper Lyrics 18 years ago
It's a bit different, but I love the sort of muffled, distorted quality his voice has on this track.

This is a ridiculously sexy song. It and When The Levee Breaks... absolutely smouldering.

Led Zeppelin – Tangerine Lyrics 18 years ago
Beautiful song on its own - not necessarily a break-up tune. It's also a gorgeous transition between Gallows Pole and That's The Way. In my humble opinion, Zeppelin III is their strongest album.

Modest Mouse – Float On Lyrics 20 years ago
I think this song is fun, and I really think it's very funny that everyone had the big selling out argument on the board for such a happy-go-lucky, upbeat song. A bit oxymoronic wouldn't you say?

- well I think it's a kickin song, and I definitely agree with the Christian reference... they may not be a blatantly Christian band [I wouldn't know] but they've put a very universal thought behind this lyric. But no one seemes to have noticed the throwback to Steinbeck's Of Mice And Men. If you've read the book, you'll definitely see the similarities between the song and George and Lennie's lives.

CKY – Rio Bravo Lyrics 20 years ago
I never end up listening to this song all the way through because the intro is the most incredible thing ever and as soon as he starts singing I just skip back to the beginning...

Unwritten Law – Seein' Red Lyrics 20 years ago
whatever, this song is still great, no matter all the overplaying that happened and the sell-out theories. If you truly, truly love a band, then why not be happy for them if they're getting mainstream play? If a band you love is mainstream, it means they're doing better, it's easier for you to hear their music, and it's more likely for them to go on the road and give you a chance to see them... none of that is bad. It's possible that if you can't see it from that point of view, then you're just selfish and you don't actually love the music... you just love being the moody, suffering underground.

I'm loving this song, especially the bluesy Led Zeppelin feel.

I can't believe no one has commented on this song yet! This song could easily have been written about every single relationship I have. When I first heard it I almost cried!
