I agree about the aborigine legends of the dreamtime. I think this song is about when the white australians came and wiped out the native auastralians. hint*( Erase the race that claim the place ) In the dreamtime legend they believed that they believed when harm is near they can turn themselves into animals. |

This song is very tragic and passionate at the sametime. I love how kate performs this song. I'm going to say perform because kate not only sings her music she also brings dramatics to it. She is so amazing. This song starts with Houdini's wife getting ready for the traditional halloween houdini saounce?*( spelling ) I think Houdini died on Halloween. So every halloween rosabel tries to reach him. The song sort of switches from the present to the past. It goes from the saounces to Rosabel's painful memory of Houdini supposedly drowning. To get the impact and feel of the song you would have to listen to Kate sing this song. Truly an artist she is.

I think Kate wrote Wuthering Heights based on the ending of the novel. The part when Catherine Earnshaw comes back for Heathcliff's soul. I think I'm not sure, but Catherine dies and comes back as some kind of ghost, and breaks heathcliff's window with her hands. She comes back for his soul so they can spend eternal life with each other. Wow now thats possesive. Overall this song is one of my fav Kate songs. Its gorgeous and stunning. |
