I personally am an atheist and I like this song. Go figure. It's one that you can interpret however the hell you want, so I'm gna interpret it as not relating to a god. The lyrics are great, and the vocals are awesome... christian band or not, they're pretty good. (though not as good as jack off jill, of course) |

Damn. some people get awfully worked up about a song, but I have to say I'm impressed by the amount of people actually making calm arguments. This is kinda like Jack off Jill's 'Losing His Touch'-about loss of faith in a god. At first glance, it seems to be anti-christianity but when you look deeper... it's one of those songs that has so many meanings that you just have to interpret it how you choose, even if others don't necessarily agree. |

I love this song.
"There's no sleeping for me, I'm losing my faith
Love is not safe in a world filled with hate"-Kinda weird how Tairrie's into religious imagery yet most of her songs are somewhat... not too pro god.
Also-her reference to the "tenth day of June" reminds me of my favorite song by them, June 10th. Really must've impacted her huh...
