Ahh, agreed. I've been listening to Beck since I was, like, two years old. You know, I often try to come up with lyrical interpretations of his songs, but I'm simply not that creative! His songs are just too awesomey weird. And I'm rather saddened that hardly anyone's commented on any Beck songs- he rocks my freaking WORLD. Haha. Oh well. He has originality like you wouldn't believe. |

Man, this song is so energetic... one of my high-rated Pg. songs. And it didn't have any comments! Ahh! Not that I'm anti-christian or anything (or that I am christian- crazy guys), but the part where he screams "fuck you jesus" is insane. I love it. When I listen to the song, whatever I'm doing, when I hear that line, it makes me want to totally lose it. |

Correction: God, Jesus, Zeus, every deity rolled into one. haha. Anyhow, yeah, Saetia -really- knew how to paint some fantastic lyrical imagery. What I've always loved about their lyrics is they're moreso like poetry than lyrics, which makes them ten times more fun to scream along to, and twenty times more interesting to read. Those crazy kids really knew what they were doing. This song is probably one of my favorites. |

On the subject of Saetia vs. Hot Cross/Off Minor, I'm gonna have to go in favor of Saetia, followed by Hot Cross and Off Minor. Hot Cross rocks HARD (Off Minor is.. mediocre at best, sorry), but Saetia just really hits an emotional chord for me, so I suppose I'm biased. Anyways, agreed, this is a beautiful song... but, it's not my favorite. It's a nice, soothing song when I'm feeling mellow, and the lyrics are amazing (especially format wise- I love how it's in the form of a conversation), but I'm partial to Saetia's harder, faster material. |
