Blink-182 – Strings Lyrics | 22 years ago |
i dont think this song is about being independent. Its about the paradox of wanting to love someone yet wanting to be totally independent as well. So many of lifes special things are found in the strings. |
Thursday – Autobiography of a Nation Lyrics | 22 years ago |
reminds me of Millencolins 'Aphgan'. Doesnt matter to me how the writer got lyrics for song. If theyre true and the band feels them, it doesnt matter who wrote them. |
Sheryl Crow – If It Makes You Happy Lyrics | 22 years ago |
chorus is great, really makes me ask myself the same question. If it makes me happy, then why the hell am i so sad? I really have no idea what shes talking about, but it doesnt really matter, does it? We all have our own interpretations, and whatever we see in the words and emotion is good |
The Smashing Pumpkins – Soma Lyrics | 22 years ago |
I just heard this song for the first time. Ive read 'Brave New World' so i got the impression the song was about soma in the drug sense. "I'm all by myself As ive always felt I'll betray myself To anyone, lost, anyone but you" Reminds me of myself. Soma is anything that dulls your senses and lets you escape from the reality of life, hard as it can be. it lets us forget our pain, and escape from responsibilities. My soma is MaryJane, whats yours? |
Millencolin – Pepper Lyrics | 22 years ago |
He speaks the truth, its in all of us |
Millencolin – Battery Check Lyrics | 22 years ago |
This song is about recharging oneself. Everone does it differently, but everone needs to do it once in a while. We have to get the power to take chances and learn from mistakes. The chorus is incredible, the feeling i get from it reminds me of bad religion, another incredible band. Actually, now that I think about it, Home from Home is a lot like Bad Religions newest, The Process of Belief. The Process is probably better in my opinion, but its different music. |
Millencolin – Killercrush Lyrics | 22 years ago |
screw the trendy chicks...any way you want |
Millencolin – Fuel To The Flame Lyrics | 22 years ago |
i love how millencolin's songs have a personal meaning to the writer, but they always have a stanza or chorus that anybody can interpret there own way and find their own meaning. |
Jack Johnson – Flake Lyrics | 22 years ago |
to me, it sounds like jack is with this girl, but she is so caught up with the trivial parts of life that she never has time for the important things, like love |
The Jimi Hendrix Experience – All Along the Watchtower (Bob Dylan cover) Lyrics | 22 years ago |
Its about finding meaning in life in Vietnam |
Bob Marley and the Wailers – Three Little Birds Lyrics | 22 years ago |
this is song is straight up mellow. Bob says Dont worry bout a thing, everythings chillin. I rise up this mornin, smoke a spliff, smile with the sweet sun, listening to the sweet melodies of the birds, life is good |
Bob Marley and the Wailers – Redemption Song Lyrics | 22 years ago |
What do you guys think "Have no fear for atomic energy 'Cause none of them can stop the time" means? Maybe that not even an atom bomb can stop us? |
Bob Marley and the Wailers – Redemption Song Lyrics | 22 years ago |
My favorite lines from this song are "Emancipate yourself from mental slavery None but ourselves can free our minds" Bob wasn't just a gnarley stoner, he was a prophet. |
Bob Marley and the Wailers – Positive Vibration Lyrics | 22 years ago |
"If you get down and quarrel everyday You're saying prayers to the devil, I say Why not help one another on the way Make it much easier" Bob Marley was a good man |
Bob Marley and the Wailers – No Woman No Cry Lyrics | 22 years ago |
To me this song really sums up the bob mood. I pretty much love every song by bob, but the line, "ev'rythings gonna be alright" totally captures what i feel when i listen to any bob track. When things aren't always going right, these words remind me that life will go on, they remind me to take a step back and look at the problem is context. One love |
