i love this song, and to me its a cry out grasping at insanity as the world is attacking you (rows of houses bearing down on me). ive felt those same house grimacing at me and telling me to die. ive been swallowed whole by this world and it kills me everytime it spits me back up. i guess im just not good enough to die. |

i love this song, its tragic, haunting and written in a way that cant be described as anything less than cryptic. thom will continue to inspire me with his voice and his intellect. the sheer desperation in his voice as he repeats those words 'dont leave' are enough sometimes to bring me to tears. i cant ever fully understand where he is coming from, but that desperation has been mine as well for a while now. i love thom like a brother and ive never heard him speak. ive only read and read and listened to him sing.
ps i liked the i might be wrong version xenocide, it may not be as good as Germany, but it should still get its share of credit. |

im no expert on the either subject of tool or PF, but i like this song because of its comical aspects. i wouldnt delve too deep into the song either because it obviously was not written in the deepest philisophical state of mind, but i can see where broken gerbil is coming from. tool obviously has taken notes from PF and i would just be happy if toolrulz would acknowledge that. you have the right to post whatever you want, but if you feel that way about a song that other people like, dont make fun of em, and keep your opinions, educated or NOT, to yourself. |
