first of all i'd like to say that this song, as well as "through being cool","firefly",and "THIS IS NOT AN EXIT" are awesome songs...second of all i understand both points of view on the whole "going on mtv is selling out" deal. some of you that are new to punk/emo music are like "ohhh i love this music im glad its on mtv and i wish those hardcore-for life-punks would shut up and let me listen to the music they like cuz I LIKE IT TOO"....and on the other side there are those of you who have listened to punk since whats seems like FOREVER and wish these new-coming-pop-loving people wouldnt like ur music cuz ITS YOUR MUSIC AND YOU LIKED IT FIRST...................now now ill admit when NFG and J.E.W. were on mtv i was like "wtf? now its gonna be everyne liking them and not the true fans" well..ya know mtv aint all that bad cuz they make bands famous and if YOUR TRUELY LIKE THAT BAND AND UNDERSTAND THE DEEP LYRICS AND TRUE MEANINS OF SONGS THAT TOUCH YOU then why not SHARE THOSE SONGS AND MEANINGS WITH others? well..ya..thats just something to think about.............anyone agree? =/ |

OMG favorite song 4ever..if u dont like this song..then, u havent really listened or thought about the lyrics, and if u have, and u still dont like it...then, i'm sorry, you're REALLY missing out. chris is an amazing song writer! ~its beautiful~ |

this songs awesome. its really sad though. i think everyone can relate to it cuz everyones lost something in their life or knows what it feels like. also jordans grandpa dying im sure is a real personal issue for him, so for him to play this song in every concert on every tour so every fan can feel his emotions with him, well thats just...the..best.. |

who's ever said you cannot smile and be sad at the same time was proven wrong when this song was written...this song just, i dono, its classic. it makes you realize everyone you're thankful for, and it makes you just wanna give them a big hug and thank them for everything theyve done for you before its too late. so why not thank everyone you know before its too late..live everyday like its ur last and dont have any regrets. =/ |

This is gotta be my favorite song. seriously. i mean, the lyrics are freakin awesome.. to me, the first part of this song just talks about how this person's attitude is just like we've had our problems, but Tonight let's just forget it all and just BE together. The second part is saying: if you lose all hope then you've lose everything, so just forget about everything and look into the future so when everything comes to an end you can actually look back on your life and accomplishments and be proud.
